Their ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (Information Security Management System) seems to have expired on 04-May-2026.
Is there a newer one @eMudhra? Can you share your SOC2 status too?

The rules for deciding who gets to vote are getting changed mid-SIR. Who is accountable for the electoral rolls already prepared?
Following recommendations from the CEO, Maharashtra, the ECI has made four changes to ECINET, granting Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) greater discretion in handling SIR notices.
The changes risk producing electoral rolls based on two different standards of decision-making: one under restricted ERO powers, the other under expanded discretion. The result could be two different electorates, shaped by inconsistent levels of centralisation and ERO autonomy.
This exposes the ECI’s ad hoc, arbitrary and seemingly chaotic approach to determining something as fundamental as a citizen’s right to vote.
Electoral rolls cannot be a moving target. We will continue to challenge this process and the unlawful exercise of institutional power until constitutional democracy is restored.

Gyanesh Kumar Gupta must understand that “the dog ate my homework” is not a defence.
Ensuring the ECI is adequately staffed so that none of its essential functions suffers is the CEC’s responsibility. Appointing a Central Public Information Officer (CPIO) at the ECI to process RTI requests is the CEC's basic administrative duty.
His failure to fulfil this elementary responsibility will only add to his fast-growing CV of disasters.
But the CEC's incompetence cannot be used as an excuse to deny citizens their right to information.
The information will have to be released. Just as the resignation will have to come.
New ECI trick to hide information:
Gyanesh Kumar's ECI is now trying a new trick to avoid furnishing information that can be inconvenient to him.
RTI requests are being rejected basically claiming that "Public Information Officers of ECI have other work and are busy"
This is nonsense because:
👉 Election work is ECI's permanent job. If that excuses delays/not giving info, ECI would never have to reply.
👉 ECI must appoint as many CPIOs as needed. Understaffing is ECI's failure, not the citizen's burden
👉 It has been RULED by CIC several times (e.g. Shiv Babu v MCD) that staff shortage and work overload are not excuses that can be given for not replying in time or for not providing information
Basically Gyanesh Kumar is now in panic mode and is using all kind of excuses to avoid getting caught.
Question is: HOW BIG are the scams at the ECI that they would go to any extent to hide information?

In January 2025 my mom’s lung cancer spread to her brain. The drug with the best chance of helping her was approved in China but not here.
A doctor told me, almost as an aside, that if she were Chinese she could buy it at a pharmacy.
So I flew to Shanghai and came home with 26 boxes in my luggage. That was 19 months ago. My mom is still here, still working, and in her words has had an amazing three years.
The drug was approved in China in 2023. The FDA approved it in July 2025. It still is not for sale here. I know of at least 30 Americans who have made the same trip.
I have been scared to tell this story because I worried it could cost my mom access to the medicine keeping her alive. But the problem matters more than my silence. These drugs need to be developed and available here, and that means FDA reform.
