Please don’t give the money directly to premiers like Doug Ford. They’ll give it to their buddies for luxury spas that no one can afford. We’ll never see that money.
In Budget 2026, we’re laying out a path to end homelessness within the next decade — backed by nearly $30 billion to bring help, housing, and health care together. Because in Canada, we take care of each other.

Obvious solution here: CANCEL the white elephant 413 scheme. Stop blowing all our money trying to concrete over the Greenbelt.
Premier Doug Ford is shutting down any talk of a new funding deal for the City of Toronto, suggesting Ontario’s $16.9 billion deficit has left the province facing “tough times” with less room to support municipal budgets. globalnews.ca/news/12136560/… #onpoli

One moment he was supporting two young cadets selling poppies, the next he was transported to hospital with life-altering injuries. In a matter of moments, this family's entire world changed. He is now facing a long and uncertain road ahead, including spinal surgery, an extended hospital stay and what will undoubtedly be an incredibly challenging recovery. I don’t generally share these, but for this one I am morally compelled to … 🇨🇦😞 gofund.me/6822ad2cc

One week without Starshield for Ukraine has allowed russia to resupply units in sectors of the front where Ukraine was making progress and facilitated strikes against Ukrainian civilians. This was deliberate aid to an invading army and a war crime. Musk belomgs in prison

BC just handed a majority to a Conservative Party that was tearing itself apart months ago. BC wanted things even messier. Ontario would have given you Doug Ford; all you had to do was ask.

Danielle Smith is an actress. @ABDanielleSmith is a liar; nothing she says here is true. She parrots Alberta's big lie about Eastern Canada stealing Alberta's money. Pure bullshit for low-IQ hillbillies that Alberta Media has fully embraced for her and her clicks. She's been trying to secede for 7 years. For profit and personal gain. Danielle Smith is a traitor who committed treason, and she needs to be dealt with accordingly.

The Russians tortured 500 people in Bucha. The Russians tortured children in Bucha. The Russians tortured dogs in Bucha. The Russians killed animals in Bucha. In Bucha, the Russians used military vehicles to hunt people—turning it into a game. People ran, the Russians fired, they hunted them down, playing games. And this didn’t just happen in Bucha. Trump and his mafia gang call this "humanitarian." What do you call it?
Bucha. It was a genocide, recognized by everyone. They buried hundreds of people. They tortured people. We found the grave. There were, I believe, around 500 people. When we liberated those towns near Kyiv, there emerged this, you know, this kind of hatred for the Russians, right at that moment. Not even at the moment when they started the full-scale war. Back then nobody understood what it really was yet. People understood what this war was and what Putin did personally when we found those mass graves of tortured adults, children. I mean they didn't just kill them, they tortured and killed them. When we liberated Bucha, I said, bring every journalist here. Don't touch anything, just bring the journalists. The whole world simply has to see this. Imagine finding a mass grave in the U.S. or in Britain, God forbid, with 500 tortured people, adults, kids, dogs, animals shot dead. I mean, they held hunting sprees there from military vehicles. People were running, they were shooting, just hunting, playing games. They literally just played with people, like slavery. So how, after this, can you listen to Putin? And how, after this, can you forgive? From The Diary of a CEO podcast with Steven Bartlett. (2/3)

I would like to thank @StevenBartlett for doing something that seemingly nobody does this days... Prepare for the goddamn interview 🙂 You could instantly tell that he was aware of the person he was interviewing and the topic. Showing actual footage of the events that were spoken about was exactly the kind of professionalism you don't see. And, of course, after years now of watching our representatives treated like absolute garbage and being asked the most dehumanizing, insulting, blaming and distasteful questions ever... This was shockingly refreshing. So thank you, from a Ukrainian in Kharkiv, for not treating this interview and the biggest war on the planet and Ukraine like a fucking joke 🙂👍
What do you say to your family when you don’t know if you’ll ever see them again? In February 2022, he told his wife and children the war had begun. Then he left as Russian forces advanced towards Kyiv, unsure what the coming hours would bring. This is President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Before politics, he built a successful career in Ukrainian television as a writer, producer and performer, even portraying a president on screen. In 2019, he was elected President of Ukraine. Three years later, Russia launched its full-scale invasion. Sitting down with him was surreal and an enormous responsibility. It was a rare chance to hear his account of the first hours of the war and the decisions that followed. We discussed things like: How he found out Russia had invaded. Why he refused an offer to evacuate Kyiv. The 64km Russian military convoy advancing towards the capital. How Russian forces tried to capture a key airport. His account of discovering hundreds of bodies after Russian occupation. What he believes it will take to end the war. But I also wanted to understand how he’d been coping. One of my first questions was simply, “How are you doing?” His answer was: “It’s hard.” He spoke about meeting parents whose children had been killed. Some, he explained, simply ask him for a hug. And as he spoke, there were tears in his eyes. Whatever your views on the war or the decisions made by those involved, this is a rare opportunity to hear his account of events that have changed millions of lives. Because behind every map, every headline and every political decision, there are real people. Out now on all platforms ❤️👊🏾 (President Zelenskyy was recorded in Ukrainian and dubbed in English.)

What he said.
Avi Lewis: "The entire process was unnecessary. Nobody asked for it. Danielle Smith's career has been defined by a slow walk towards separation. All of the questions are designed to stoke division in Alberta, and she is the one who is responsible for that."
