Orcs are evil because they are evil monsters. They are created to be evil, by an evil god, to do evil things.
They are not a placeholder for a "different culture", they are not a human analog, they are not a "minority".
They are biological constructs made to do the bidding of dark god who made them to mock the other races (elves) specifically
If your mind can't comprehend that you likely shouldn't engage with LOTR material.
[NEWS] “Marnûkh is a character meant to challenge long-held perceptions of Orcs. He’s such a departure from past depictions that within the production, Marnûkh has picked up the catchy nickname, “the Orc with an arc.”

Hot take, we don't need better graphics than this. The push for realism has just resulted in the actual gameplay stagnating.
I would trade "photorealistic" graphics for this any day and put all of the resources into huge 1000+ player lobbies with insane physics, destruction and levolution events.

Letting people with severe mental illness and addiction rot and die on the street and completely dominate the public realm is not a progressive ideal. The families that rely on transit, libraries, parks and streets deserve safe, clean, comfortable, corpse free spaces.

The ideal Napoleonic charge - especially the French heavy cavalry's version - was less a wild gallop than a carefully built crescendo. Squadrons started at a walk, moved through the trot and canter, and only went full out in the last stretch so the horses stayed fresh and the ranks stayed locked together ("boot to boot," or charge en muraille "like a wall"). That tight wall of men and mounts was meant to hit with real shock, preferably against an enemy already shaken by guns or infantry.
British cavalry of this era often approached the same problem differently. They had fine horses and bold riders, and a single squadron could be formidable. Yet they had a well-known habit of prioritising speed over control - once they charged, they tended to keep going, scatter, and struggle to re-form. Wellington put it bluntly when he said he considered British cavalry inferior to the French from "want of order," adding that while one British squadron might match two French, larger formations generally favoured the French. In small numbers that dash could still win, but in larger masses the French usually held the edge because they kept better cohesion and were more reliable about holding reserves.
The basic sequence of the charge was much the same on both sides. What set the French practice apart was simply greater consistency in keeping large bodies under control from start to finish.

We humans are going to have to decide whether jobs exist simply to accomplish tasks or if employment as a social technology is worth preserving to maintain social order. Because companies are making decisions with heavy social consequences based on their own economic incentives.
Rumors that chili maker Lao Gan Ma laid off 500+ workers due to AI have gone viral in China.
Beneath Beijing’s positive messaging, many ordinary Chinese people are worried about AI and jobs.
Lao Gan Ma recently touted a new AI-powered chili inspection system that uses high-speed industrial cameras that significantly outperform manual inspection.
A stat about the company using this AI system to reduce human inspectors from 600 to 48 went viral on Chinese social media. The iconic, family-run company pushed back.
But if you look at the data, the company has reduced headcount from 2,912 to 740 in the past few years while earning record revenues.
