My aunty who was buried in her uncompleted building, nobody has gone back to the land since 2007 not even her daughter. I passed there recently and was pointing it out to my friend filled with weeds.

“Last night a woman came to the service with a child. She was wearing trousers and no headscarf. One of you reprimanded her. She left. I don’t know who reprimanded her, but I order this person to pray for her and for this child until the end of their days, that the Lord save them. Because of you, she may never come to church again!” - Metropolitan Anthony of Sourozh
Woman at church yesterday showed up in a sweatshirt and literal pajama pants. Wore her hood the entire service. I was absolutely appalled. I hate this whole, “came as you are” narrative the Protestant church preaches. Other religions wouldn’t let you in if you dressed so disrespectfully. Why is it only Christian’s that are held to this standard? That we must just accept everything?

the older you get, the more you realize luck is mostly exposure, if you sit in the same place, have the same routine, talk to the same person, nothing new really happens, you have to engage the world to win, travel more. talk to people.

she took years of online abuse for that red table table convo when 1. it was his idea, and 2. he sat there, pretending to be sad as if she cheated on him
I read both her and will’s book and a lot that relationship is Jada having to compromise and play the bad guy because will is likable and the bigger star

I agree with your take, but Jada taking the blame actually made financial sense for both of them. She’s smart and it was a sound business move, even if it was emotionally tough on both of them.

I read both her and will’s book and a lot that relationship is Jada having to compromise and play the bad guy because will is likable and the bigger star
Jada Pinkett Smith clarifies the Red Table Talk “entanglement, revealing she and Will Smith had been completely separated since 2016 and why she took the blame as an adulteress “There been several breakups between Will and I… 2016 came and we had the ultimate break. But the world didn’t know. And I think that that’s where some of the misconception about having an open marriage came into play because we were living lives as single people. And the world didn’t know… I played a part in the misconception of that narrative of allowing myself to be portrayed as an adulteress, allowing myself to be portrayed as someone that had betrayed Will, and that wasn’t the case. We broke up in 2016… When we got to the table, Will wasn’t ready. He wasn’t ready for the world to know that. I had to respect that… I was ready to let go of the persona I had created around myself.”

Do you judge Judy, fortunately for me I have a child with a man that doesn’t need to congratulated for looking after his child when I’m not around
Leaving your toddler COUNTLESS TIMES to enjoy WEEKENDS away with your girls, yeah sorry I’m fucking judging you. Maybe wait until you’re past the phase that u need to do this before having kids.

the older I get the more I see why my parents pounded it into me and my brother's head that we are not the center of the universe and everything does not have to be about you and you should still do it anyway if you claim to care about the people asking
my issue isn't that these events exist, but that they are by their very nature exclusive (a lot of people can't do this) and they replace more accessible parties that everyone can attend. On a macro level, it's annoying.

I don’t know why Nigerians don’t do more of cremations. It is when there is body to bury all this madness starts happening. I still remember my friend whose dad died abroad, where the children were. The wife begged that they bury him abroad, so his children can visit him as they grow since all of them are there. The useless sisters insisted that they must bring the man home, even when the woman told them that the only savings her and her husband had was for the children’s education. It was cheaper and more sensible to bury him abroad. The 20 million that the wife used to bring him from France, no family member donated o, but they kept calling and laying curses on her until she gave in for peace to reign. Rubbish.

I don’t respect anyone who neglects their family, whether it’s their parents or siblings. As a son or daughter, you don’t need your anyone’s permission or reminder to take care of the family that raised you. If your partner doesn't value their own parents today, remember that you might be in those parents' shoes tomorrow. No right thinking individual would need reminder to behave like a son or daughter
