🇺🇸 BREAKING: FIRST ELECTION RESULTS FROM INDIANA!
Democrat J.D. Ford has taken a commanding early lead over Republican incumbent Victoria Spartz in Indiana's 5th Congressional District.
Ford: 63.57%
Spartz: 36.43%
That's a remarkable 27.14-percentage-point gap in the first batch of reported votes.
The Washington Post confirms that these figures come from Hamilton County, where approximately 52% of the county's vote had been reported.
This is particularly noteworthy because Spartz won her congressional district by approximately 18.5 percentage points in 2024.
These are early returns, not a final result. The remaining votes could substantially change the picture.
But Indiana has already given us one of the first important races to watch tonight.
The battle for control of Congress is underway.

Today, I sent a letter putting New Jersey’s port and terminal operators on notice: importing Russian diesel violates federal law and could carry serious civil and criminal consequences.
New Jersey will not stand by while Donald Trump supports Vladimir Putin at the expense of Americans. Instead of lowering costs, these imports help finance Putin’s war against Ukraine and a campaign of violence and terror that endangers our servicemembers abroad.
As a Navy veteran, I cannot let that stand unchallenged. Our ports must not be complicit.
