I will have a discussion with anyone about any subject. But the moment you descend into name-calling and other childish behaviour, you will be muted. If you threaten, you will be blocked. Just so we understand each other.

Earth is in the Late Cenozoic Ice Age — the global temperature of 15°C is still far colder than the long-term historical baseline of 24°C. Yet this week the United Nations launches COP31 in Türkiye, a lavish two-week gathering that puts the climate agenda back on the world stage. But this is only temporary. The world no longer cares. This global warming agenda has been running for 40 years and brought little more than fear, of economic collapse and industrial chaos. However, the physical reality remains: Earth is technically in an ice age, defined by permanent ice at both poles year-round. Humans evolved and still live within the Quaternary Glaciation, which began 2.58 million years ago. And 10% of the world's land area remains covered by glacial ice. By comparison, the combined footprint of every town and city on Earth accounts for only 1 to 3% of total land area. Glacial ice covers 15 million square kilometers (5.8 million square miles) — roughly a third of its extent during the peak of the Last Glacial Maximum (26,000 to 19,000 years ago), when ice sheets reached their most recent maximum. The Antarctic is the largest and thickest ice structure on Earth by far, reaching up to 4.8 kilometres in depth (3 miles) and holding 90% of the world's ice volume. It accounts for around 85% of total global glacial ice and remains the planet's single largest source of fresh water. Spanning roughly 14 million square kilometers (5.4 million square miles), Antarctica covers about 9.3% of Earth's total land surface. Overall, land covers only 29% of Earth's surface, while oceans cover 71% to an average depth of 3.7 kilometers (2.3 miles). Forests cover roughly 31% of land and the deserts 33%. Critically, the oceans hold roughly 86% of the active global carbon reservoir and 91% of retained heat energy; by contrast, the atmosphere holds a mere 1 to 2%. For four decades, public policy has been driven by forecasts of soaring temperatures and runaway crisis. Yet these predictions are still only scenarios. In the real world, outside the newsroom narrative, planetary dynamics continue. The Late Cenozoic Ice Age has endured for 34 million years, initiating the original glaciation of Antarctica. The primary drivers were tectonic shifts across interconnected continents. These crustal plate movements redirected ocean currents and fundamentally altered global thermal distribution. Orbital anomalies — the Milankovitch cycles of eccentricity, tilt, and precession — combined with the thermal isolation of Antarctica as Australia and South America drifted northward, locked in these cool planetary conditions. Modern human civilization and every major agricultural breakthrough developed entirely within the current Holocene interglacial, which began just 11,700 years ago.

After his Caribbean trip last week, and flying to Winnipeg and back yesterday, Mark's flying his jet again today. This time, he's off to enjoy Saturday night in Toronto. Mark would rather burn jet fuel and pollute, then spend one single day in his office working for Canadians.

Calmly and shamelessly, Canadian Senator Kristopher Wells explains that Canada must discriminate legally and officially against heterosexual white men. Sick, sick, sick.

Ahh yes. The old "Best mayor in the world" title he was given. I don't doubt he still has the coffee mug. Bear in mind, Nenshi was also named Calgary's sexiest man four years in a row. Shows the value of these titles.
You really can’t make this stuff up 😬 “They know I was named the best mayor in the world. They know that I know how to run a government which is their biggest weak spot.”

What blithering bullshit! The budget shows billions in perpetual deficits and a path toward a debt of $3.1 Trillion. An insane amount of money for a country the size of Canada.
Helping Canadians cope with the high cost of living has been our federal government's priority since day one. Budget 2026 builds on last year's budget and subsequent programs to help food banks stock up and meet growing demand. Under the new Local Food Infrastructure Fund: Community Support Stream, Food Banks Canada and Second Harvest will each receive up to $10 million to further distribute to community food banks and NGOs to provide nutritious food. Budget 2026 will provide $124 million over three years, starting in 2027-28, to renew this Fund. If you are a not-for-profit community organization, applications are now open until Monday, November 16, 2026, at 5:00 PM (EST) for Food Banks Canada and Monday, November 30, 2026, at 11:59 AM (EST) for Second Harvest. Apply now!

Not surprisingly, not a single one of these taxpayer funded clowns mentioned the extra $300 million coming their way over the next 2 years on top of the existing $1.4 billion taxpayers waste annually on them!
You know it’s bad when even Althia Raj has to admit the federal government has left Canada with no real fiscal room for any unexpected shock—spending and tax cuts at crisis levels while debt service steadily crowds out health care, long-term care, and productivity investments On the CBC’s At Issue panel, the people paid to hold power to account, Coyne flags the pre-election spending binge and government intrusion into work the private sector can finance, Raj agrees the budget isn’t prudent, and then the whole thing collapses into banter and a joke about fiscal-conservative credentials It isn’t funny. These are the journalists who spent years normalizing abandoned anchors and ever-larger deficits; when the cupboard is finally bare even they can see it, the reaction is still studio chuckling instead of sustained pressure. That is the real failure of accountability @acoyne @althiaraj @RosieBarton

CBC Sports reporter, Shireen Ahmed, also wrote a piece on the topic. She quoted Amira Elghawaby in her reporting, along with a Muslim influencer who promotes halal food, and a Muslim fan. Your taxes were used to pay for this thinly-veiled blasphemy propaganda.
The same people who glaze Islam by arguing that Muslim values are Canadian values, issue orders for enforced ideological compliance, control of speech, and no respect for freedom of conscience. He wants Islamic corporate submission and the power to dictate who is allowed to work.

Fifteen facts about the former Kamloops Indian Residential School @tkemlups: 1. There is NO EVIDENCE that the old apple orchard is an abandoned cemetery. There is a cemetery on the reserve across from the Catholic Church with many graves that are now "unmarked" because the markers have deteriorated. Chris Champion speculated in June 2021 about the possibility of there being a cemetery at the former school (dorchesterreview.ca/blogs/ne…), as this would need to be ruled out in the case of burials being substantiated, but this was before Sarah Beaulieu's presentation and research into this subject being initiated. 2. The band built a tourist attraction next to the orchard in the 1990s, which indicates that they did not believe it was a "crime scene" or an abandoned cemetery in the 1990s. 3. Not one parent has said that their child never came home from the Kamloops Indian Residential School. 4. Chief Rosanne Casimir, AFN Grand Chief RoseAnne Archibald, UBC Residential School History and Dialogue Centre Director Mary Ellen Turpel-Lafond, and Manitoba Chief David Monias said that the orchard was a "crime scene" that should be criminally investigated. Casimir said that the RCMP and the Coroner had been contacted to help with the investigation. The RCMP also accepted that the matter should be investigated, but out of "cultural sensitivity", it maintained that @Tkemlups should take the lead. On October 18, 2021, three months after it was known that no remains had been found, the "13 family heads" submitted a petition to Prime Minister Trudeau with the following words: "In May of 2021, evidence of a horrific act of genocide was laid bare to the world, with the confirmation of at least 215 unmarked graves of little ones who attended the Kamloops Indian Residential School". 5. The band received $3.2 million (out of a total of 12.1 million) for forensics and DNA analysis to be done between 2021 and 2023. The application for 9 million dollars to the federal government in July 2021 had in its title "Kamloops Indian Residential School Ancestral Remains Excavation" (the Kamloops Indian Band refers to "The 215" as their "ancestors"). Excavation, which is required before any forensics and DNA analysis can proceed, was never done. 6. The NCTR had 51 names on its registry of children who died who are associated with KIRS. Two of the names were replications and so there were actually 49. Two children actually died at the school (from accidents); the others died in hospital or in their home communities. A good picture of 35 out of 49 deaths is known, and the remaining 14 can be investigated more fully if the families apply to Vital Statistics for the records. For an analysis of this see Jacques Rouillard's article - dorchesterreview.ca/blogs/ne… 7. George Nicholas was in charge of the Simon Fraser University archaeological dig where 15 of the "remains" were confirmed by @tkemlups. When Nina Green contacted Nicholas in July 2021 (after Sarah Beaulieu's presentation), he said that the lawyer for the Band had told the archeology department not to talk about the Kamloops case (i.e. a gag order was placed on this publicly funded academic department). 8. Many people attended a reunion for the Kamloops Indian Residential School in 1977 to talk about the good old days. One of the people attending was Chief Harvey McLeod, who testified in January 2022 that he recalled talk of children being secretly being buried in the apple orchard and children being forced to help bury the dead (including babies) and at least one account involving a baby and a furnace. 9. The RCMP did a comprehensive investigation of residential schools in the 1990s and no one said anything about clandestine burials. This was in spite of the fact that Charlene Belleau was acting as the liaison to convince people to come forward and talk to the police. 10. The Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples held a hearing in 1993 in the building of the former Kamloops Indian Residential School. No one said anything about clandestine burials. 11. Agnes Jack interviewed several people in her book Behind Closed Doors, which came out in 2000, and no one said anything about clandestine burials. Ron Ignace was one of the people interviewed in the book. After the 2021 Kamloops Indian Band announcement, he talked about knowing about clandestine burials for years. 12. Clarence Jules, the father of Manny Jules, never said anything about clandestine burials in David Neel's book Our Chiefs and Elders: Words and Photographs of Native Leaders (1992), pp. 72-3. Manny Jules, after the @tkemlups announcement about the 215 remains, said that he had been hearing his parents talk about these burials for years. 13. Jeanette Jules testified at the TRC hearing in 2013 in Kamloops. She never mentioned anything about clandestine burials. In May 2022, Jeanette Jules made a speech saying that children were buried on the former Kamloops Indian Residential School grounds and "in the mountains". 14. When testifying before the Senate in March 2026, Rosanne Casimir was not able to state the name of one child who she believed made up Le Escwiwey ("The missing"/"The 215") buried in the apple orchard in spite of years of archival research. 15. In October 2026, Kathy Manuel said that her husband, Ken Manuel, had spoken about the bodies buried at the Kamloops Indian Residential School for 40 years. Ken Manuel was the last administrator for the school. In 1978, he never mentioned anything about burials. Instead, he was positive about the school and stated that "at one time there was no other alternative (for Indian children) if they wanted education...Indian youngsters would attend the school and residence if they lived deeply in the backwoods and no school was close enough to commute to daily. Others would attend because of other special problems such as being handicapped, having nomadic parents, or parents with a drug or alcohol problem".

Facts, as opposed to Carney's lies.
New job numbers yesterday. The grocery bill doesn’t wait for the job market to recover. From January to October 2026, the U.S. added 861,000 payroll jobs while Canada had 45,900 fewer people employed.

It’s obscene really what the Carney government is doing. And the #ElbowsUp crowd are blissfully unaware or simply don’t care.
They should have called this budget The Grand Illusion! The revenue predictions are delusional, as is the GDP growth forecast while the net debt calculation relies on using every penny in the CPP, military/RCMP & public sector pension plans despite almost all of that money being allocated to cover pension payments. The debt to GDP ratio has increased 5 years in a row, even after the Finance Minister declared that lowering that rate was a key fiscal anchor. On the homelessness front, the very same @liberal_party gov issued a plan in 2017 to cut homelessness in half. As of 2025, according to Statistics Canada, homelessness has increased 160% from 2017 levels. The liberals are the masters of economic spin & making grand promises they never keep! Oh in the case of this specific Minister, ensuring her husband’s company gets good big dollar federal gov contracts 😎 #TheGrandIllusion
