Great chat last night with Moz and Clive on all current affairs involving the sky blues and some points from the past.
SISU!
That Wasps meeting!
Mark Robins!
Doug King!
The managerial candidates to take over the CCFC hot seat and a lot more.
Have a listen 👍

I think Oggy said the best thing on CWR last night which can be applied to this.
“Strachan dropped me for Hedman and said I hadn’t done anything wrong, but just needed to change something to freshen things up after a losing spell”
That is what is needed here. #pusb
Where do you stand on the big Grimesy debate and what would be your preferred midfield combination? #pusb #skyblues coventrytelegraph.net/sport/…
Start him, way more of a threat than the other 2

Frank Lampard explains Ellis Simms' matchday omission ahead of big Sunderland decision #pusb #skyblues coventrytelegraph.net/sport/…
Man U are worse than us!
So so bad!
#PUSB
Hull City look better than us and grinding out points.
Fair play to them, tipped to be the worst out of the promoted 3 and I think they will finish higher than us and Ipswich

A lot of predictions before the season started had both Hull and Fulham to be down there in the mix with us, all fighting to stay up.
We’ve completely shat the bed to both of them and lost. At fucking HOME.
It simply isn’t good enough #PUSB

Penny for Ellis Simms thoughts. Not saying I think he’s the answer, but he’s a good example of some questionable man management.
Last season, player of the month - dropped as soon as Wright came back.
This season, scores a goal vs Newcastle. Now out the squad.

Drop Grimes, and start Mfuni. Use Gus more use Torp more, get that midfield rotated a bit more, try get 1-0 up and use Grimes to slow the game down as a sub with 10-20 minutes left
📊 City’s G/As so far:
3 - Torp, Rudoni
2 - Dasilva, Thomas-Asante, Awoniyi
1 - Rushworth, Mfuni, Yirenkyi, Mason-Clark, Simms, Cherif
Yet Torp has just 72 minutes of Premier League football this season #PUSB

Coventry City 0-1 Fulham.
Six defeats in eight Premier League games. Eight Championship players in the starting XI. £30m+ of attacking talent unused.
Questions over recruitment, Lampard's substitutions and another frustrating afternoon at the CBS.
The paywall is down for this one, as if I'm going to write over 2,000 words on that performance on a Saturday night then I want as many of you as possible to join me in the misery.

One of the frustrations is that Doug put his hand in his pocket and spent a big chunk of money in the summer. It's just that very few of the new signings have made any meaningful impact.
In pure terms of who has actually improved the team, Pinnock is probably the top pick, isn't he? Yirenkyi has masses of potential, but right here and now I'd say it's the 33-year-old centre half.

Back line - did enough, not wonderful but not awful
Grimes - drop him
Yirenki - passenger
BTA - drop him
Sakamoto - did enough
Rudi - did enough - no support
Cherif - needs runners around him
Too many under par performances, it’s consistently as well

If you can't win these games at home to Hull and Fulham, don't lose. We've lost both. Disappointing.

I thought Tats was the only one with any attacking prowess
Beat his man a few times, pressing was good, got stuck in
Poor by Rudi, never let someone in on the inside. Concentrating on the outside to much and let him through.
Done him a treat there
