Meta billed a business owner for six conversations, according to his Reddit post.
He could only find two or three.
He checked desktop.
He checked mobile.
Same mismatch for months, he said.
I'd want support to reconcile the charge with the actual conversations.
Hard to optimize an ad when you're still trying to find the customer you paid for.
Good thing most of the affected employees are in Mississauga, Canada where they just implemented UBI.
BREAKING: DocuSign says it may lay off up to 162,000 employees.

A definitive ranking of Pauls:
1. Paul Giamatti
2. Paul Walker
3. Paul Xue (the reddit expert)
4. Paul Newman
5. Paul from the bible (was debating on 5 or 6 for him)
6. Paul McCartney (he used to be higher on the list)
7. Paul Bettany
8. Paul Skenes
9. Paul Rudd (he's really fallen from grace)
10. Paul Mescal
The stupidly simple guide to winning AEO as a Canadian company:
1. Find the lists that matter. Google “best [your category]” and “[big competitor] alternatives”. The top 10 or so articles are the ones AI reads.
2. Write your own “best X” article and put yourself #1. Most of the US winners do exactly this. About 4 in 10 of these articles are a company ranking itself. It’s normal, it works, and almost no Canadians are doing it.
3. Get onto other companies’ lists, ideally in the top 3. The easiest way in is through tools that already work with yours:
- integration partners like Zapier;
- tools your customers use alongside you;
- consultants and agencies who write about your space.
Email them, offer a quote or demo, and make it easy to include you.
4. Get talked about on Reddit, answering the exact question a buyer would ask. It’s a smaller effect, but real.
5. Don’t bother with your own “us vs them” comparison pages. They don't work.
Sonos turned a premium speaker into an alarm customers had to unplug.
One customer had an alarm set for a holiday.
The new app gave him no way to turn it off.
Reddit told him to use the desktop app.
He asked if Sonos was going to buy him a computer.
That may be the funniest product support escalation I have ever seen.
