@MarathonDevTeam I streamed solos for 11 hours today, bumped into @black4door in the first 2, and he is STILL visible in my recent players at the end of the day. That is how FEW people I ran into. Idk what you did to the matchmaking but PLEASE change it back. HORRIBLE PvP today.

We’re making a change to address cases where shots against Spectre Shielded players could appear to not register after the shield broke. When the Nightfall Refresh goes live tomorrow, if a player using a Spectre Shield keeps firing after becoming invisible, their invisibility will now flicker after 0.2 seconds instead of 0.9 seconds. This restores aim assist against them sooner during a fight, while preserving the shield’s intended ability to help them reposition and escape when they stop engaging. We’ve also made changes so gunfire is more reliable against invisible players. In practice, that means fewer moments where you’re aiming at a Spectre Shielded player, but your shots appear to miss while they’re invisible. Full details arriving in tomorrow's patch notes!

A 10/10 view! 🪐 With Hubble, astronomers discovered a new "decagon" encircling Saturn's south pole. Scientists think this giant 10-sided atmospheric wave might be an entirely new type of phenomenon evolving on the gas giant: go.nasa.gov/4x1c728
Side-by-side comparison of two views of the gas giant Saturn, labeled “August 29, 2025” at the top left corner. At left is a straight-on view of Saturn, a globe with pale yellow horizontal bands at the equator and orange and pink at the mid-latitudes. Some bands towards the north and south pole have a light blue hue. There are prominent horizontal rings circling at the equator. At right, labeled “Saturn’s south pole,” the south-polar view of Saturn shows concentric bands in its atmosphere, mostly tan and orange, surrounding a dark central region that has a 10-sided outline. A small, dashed circle at the very center of the pole with an “X” inside denotes missing data.
