The Himalayas are the world’s most seismically active major mountain range, with a record of triggering devastating earthquakes. How even a moderate seismic event can trigger massive cascading effects was illustrated today when a magnitude 4.4 quake along the Tibet-Nepal border unleashed a disaster, with flash floods washing away Nepali villages. This will renew global attention on China's folly in persisting with the construction of the world's largest dam in the middle of the Himalayan seismic zone. The project, located next to the Indo-Tibetan border, is a water bomb in the making, which could drown India's northeast and wreak havoc farther downstream in Bangladesh.

Concern yourselves more with the needs of others, with the needs of all humanity, and you'll have peace of mind. Selfishness creates a distance between us and other people, leading to suspicion and mistrust, ultimately resulting in loneliness. Think of others' well-being and you’ll be happy.

A terrible and tragic flash flood has taken place at Gyirong in Tibet - China, and one of our Kailash groups was caught in it. While on their way back, they were at the immigration office when the flood occurred and the building and much of the town seems to have been flooded. All of us, including the volunteers and support teams are deeply anguished and are doing our utmost to assist in the rescue. There has been no official information on the whereabouts of any of the people who were at the immigration office. We are working with the authorities to see if we can get to the location and stand ready to be part of the rescue efforts, regardless of the risk involved. Of the 21 groups who are part of our Sojourn, 495 people have already returned safely. 743 people are currently in Tibet, 148 people are in Nepal, and 77 people were at the immigration center, and 3 volunteers in Timure, Nepal. To the families and loved ones of those in our group and hundreds of others who are affected in the region, I share your pain and we are sparing no effort during this profoundly difficult time. I am personally in the region to ensure the best can be done in the given circumstances 🙏🏽- Sg

Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI): "You no longer need to write prompts." In just 38 minutes, he explains how to use ChatGPT at a level that most people can't even imagine. It's a talk he gave to Stanford students. A friend sent me the recording last night. After watching it, I realized I was only taking advantage of about 15% of what this tool can really do. Watch it in full and then read the guide I leave below on how to create a system that prompts itself.

Kailash A glorious being of immense proportions, when longed to share his monumental knowing. Found all seekers Inadequate and unable to receive this torrent of ceaseless knowledge. Of all there is and all that isn't. A knowing that encompasses every manifestation of creation, its innards and the very basis of all there is. Unable to find a seeker of the right magnitude chose this Sacred Rock May no fool treat this as just another Rock to languish in ignorance forever. Let all know this Rock is a choice above all Beings. Love & Grace Sadhguru

Improve yourself and circumstances cannot but improve themselves. Extirpate every sickly, bitter and impure thought from your mind and wash away every sinful stain from your soul. Live just as finely & beautifully in private as in the open glare of the world’s noon. Om Babaji Om!

Dhyanalinga is a Dwara or a Doorway to the Creation. In a very codified way, all the keys to everything that is worth knowing is hung in one place. If one is aware enough, they can pick it up and open whatever they want in the Existence. -Sg #DhyanalingaConsecrationDay

The face is the index of the mind. The eyes are the windows of the soul. The heart is the entrance to the Seat of Self. The head is the exit. Fill all these with joy and let them express its smile in action.  Aum Namaha Babaji Maha-Varuta!

“Create an atmosphere of positive thinking around yourself. It has been said that to the mind, attitudes are more important than facts; and this is very true. If we consciously look for the best in every situation, that positive spirit and enthusiasm acts as a wonderful stimulant to the mind and feelings, and to the body. Right attitude is a tremendous help in removing the mental and emotional obstructions that cut us off from the divine resources within us.” — Sri Daya Mata, in “Finding the Joy Within You: Personal Counsel for God-Centered Living” #SriDayaMata #quote #InspiringQuotes #positivity #enthusiasm

Everybody says, “Believe in yourself.” I would say, first learn to doubt yourself. If something goes wrong, look within and see, “Maybe it is me.” This little doubt will bring some sense into you. Then, you will walk a little more gently upon this planet. #SadhguruWisdom
