Yes, polyester is a plastic (PET) derived from crude oil.
It is not typically "coated" in hormone disruptors, but many garments contain residues or finishes (BPA/bisphenols, phthalates, PFAS, antimony) that can act as endocrine disruptors and may migrate via sweat or heat.
Most concerning: tight synthetic activewear (polyester-spandex leggings, sports bras, socks), water-repellent items, and heavily finished fast-fashion pieces. Natural fibers like organic cotton, linen, or wool generally pose lower chemical risks.

Wow, now they're just CUTTING OFF people from electricity. 50,000 homes in Nevada will just "go dark" and be completely cut off, all due to data centers needing the power.
Nearly 50,000 people in the Lake Tahoe area have been told that their utility will stop providing power to them, because it's redirecting that power to data centers.
NV Energy, the Nevada utility that has supplied most of Lake Tahoe’s electricity for decades, says that next year it will stop servicing homes in the area, and instead direct that electricity to the growing demand from Nevada data centers.
Northern Nevada is one of the fastest-growing data-center corridors in the country.

During this week's Utilities Committee hearing, it was revealed that a massive new AI data center project is owned by a Russian Billionaire, Arkady Volozh. While local residents are being asked to provide massive tax abatements and hand over our energy resources, the profits and control of that data are tied to a founder of the Russian tech giant Yandex.

It now heads to the Senate, but Leader Thune vowed that a CBDC ban is DONE FOR in the Senate.

Ford can fuck the fuck off. Here's my favorite part, 6 years from now, after we've run this through the courts and they've spent hundreds of millions, and millions of Ford autos have this crap installed, the Supreme Court court will rule in favor of the people and outlaw this surveillance.
ONLY law enforcement will have over rides on their vehicles to that ONLY law enforcement vehicles will allow highly stressed, bad temperament, chemical impaired persons to drive, if Ford has its way. Let that soak in.
