Personal Update: Today I wanted to get back to talking about SEO (I have a take on E-E-A-T not being static that I've been craving to talk about). I felt like, I just needed a break from all this, and getting back into SEO and branding talk would be a good way to give balance to my life which currently has none. I'm overwhelmed and it's all-consuming. I feel like my life and my family's lives LITERALLY hang in the balance of decisions that are going to be made over the next few days. It's terrifying. I feel that if we don't remove Hamas there IS going to be a next time and it's going to be even worse. Not knowing how that is going to play out is terrifying. I need a break. Something to relieve the tension and add a degree of normalcy back to my life. I'm up until 1 AM looking at videos and Tweets and I feel like I just can't stop. I turned on the highlights from the Rangers/Astros game to watch the Astros get their asses handed to them (can't stand the Stros...) and I turned it off 30 seconds in and flipped to a CNN interview. Rangers v. Astros? Who cares? I normally would. Very much so. I just can't bring myself to care and I can't stop consuming media about what's going on here because everything hinges on it. I was even about to start scheduling a few "SEO posts" but I can't. I literally came here to Twitter and started scrolling through my feed for a minute before I set my posts up and I just couldn't. I could not bring myself to talk about "SEO" and "Branding" when my feed was FILLED with: 😡 People walking the streets in NY calling for an intifada (which is a violent uprising against Jews) 😡 Business owners writing they don't want to "serve Jews" anymore. What is this Alabama in the 1960's? 😡 Palestinian supporters shouting down Jews praying the daily evening service. WTF? 😡 The White House press Secretary having a hard time saying "There is a rise in hate against Jews." (It's about as complicated as saying "water is wet") 😡 People in Milan shouting "Open the borders to us, so we can kill the Zionists." 😡 Let's not talk about the burnt skull of a child I saw from the massacre on Oct. 7 There is too much hate against Jews. THIS IS LITERALLY LESS THAN 10 MINUTES OF SCROLLING ON MY TWITTER FEED. So if you follow me for SEO and marketing insights, I'm sorry. I just don't know what to say at this point.
