I enjoy watching politics like some watch baseball but I’ve never been so excited to get to the end of an election cycle. We are void of statesmen & stateswomen and overrun by “clowns to the left of me and jokers to the right”. The gimmickry on both sides is embarrassing.

Theis is a sweeping generalizaation, but lemme cook for a minute. We live on the southern frontier of metro KC. Lots of full size trucks here. Ford, Chevy, GMC & Ram. Ram drivers are the guys who buy a cowboy hat at Walmart the week the rodeo is in town. Just an observation.

Shout out to @GEICO roadside assistance who saved us TWICE when both vehicles suffered serious breakdowns a few hrs apart. Great service at a time we really needed it.

This reminds me of those times, but I’m preaching and I’m reminded of a story that is somewhat adjacent to the topic but probably didn’t need to be told.
