Switch 2 games running on a Switch 1 genuinely sounds hella impressive but it’s immediately ruined by moronic grifters saying dumb shit like “OH MA GAWD, DIS SWITCH 2 GAME IS RUNNIN ON DA SWITCH 1 HOLY SHIT DA SWITCH 2 IS WORTHLESS PLASTICC LMAOAOAOAOO🤣🤌” OP quite literally said that for MKW to even be feasible on the Switch 1they had to overclock the Switch 1’s hardware (which is only possible through modding) lower the resolution/textures/LOD/rendering and cut out large chunks of the open world and even then, it’s STILL not a stable 60FPS. You can quite literally see it struggling to maintain a smooth 60 cuz it’s jittering every 5-10 seconds. Yes it’s impressive that an overclocked Switch 1 can even run MKW in the first place and it’s really cool to see these games be playable on lower end hardware, but it’s immediately obvious from the video that MKW and these Switch 2 games in general (Bananza, Pokopia, Raiders, etc) couldn’t be feasible on the Switch 1 without SEVERELY compromising them.
