A lot of married couples with kids just don't want to admit that they don't want to put in effort with their other relationships anymore so they justify it by villainizing childfree, single people. I know married couples who have a strong village bc they still put effort!

This is why modern parenting is like prison. This mindset just straight up didn’t exist 30 years ago.

I think one of the unfortunate things abt being accommodating is that ppl eventually stop recognizing your flexibility as something you're choosing to give them. It becomes the baseline for the relationship. Then the first time you prioritize yourself, you’re demonized
This has been the year of mastering crash outs 😂 lots of patience, breathing, pinpointing triggers, sitting in plain vulnerability and reflecting on the thoughts I have rather than indulging in them too tough…
I’m not fully there (because a crash out here and there is needed actually so you don’t die) but I’ve gotten a handle of my whims and it’s made me just a much better person 🥰

wow. Love is so beautiful to witness
I love the fact that Beyoncé is one of the biggest stars in the world but she rehearses like a hungry newcomer. I remember when she said “That’s why people don’t like to rehearse. You gotta be humble. You gotta be willing to look awkward, and you gotta study, be a student.” 😭😭
Eeek! New ACOTAR book! Lowkey I cba to reread Silver Flame but I need a detailed summary before I start
As you get older, being open to receiving criticism and feedback with little no defensiveness will exponentially change the health of all types of relationships you have
