🔴🦉Wow, #LincolnCity.

A hat-trick of 1-0 away wins means that Lincoln City have now won more points away from home (nine) than any other side in the Championship so far this season! 🤩

England's only joint managers having Lincoln City in the Championship's top eight is the best story in the EFL so far this season. Some effort.
Following Lincoln City's journey has been a privilege. In the Championship comes something even more fascinating: the only joint-head coaches in English football.
I spent a day with Chris Cohen, Tom Shaw and their staff to tell this brilliant story...

Yesterday, Lincoln City won a match in the second tier of English football.
Nothing particularly unusual about that.
Except the last time they did it was in 1961.
Ben House's second-half header gave Lincoln a 1-0 win away at Bolton, securing the club's first victory at this level for 65 years.
The modern rise has been ridiculous.
In 2016/17, Lincoln were still playing non-league football.
That season they won the National League and became the first non-league club in more than a century to reach the FA Cup quarter-finals.
Two years later they won League Two.
Last season they won League One with 103 points and finally returned to the second tier for the first time since 1961.
Their first two Championship games back ended in defeat.
Then they went to Bolton.
House headed in from a long throw after 66 minutes, goalkeeper George Wickens helped keep Bolton out, and Lincoln finally had their win.
Sixty-five years after the last one.
From the National League to winning Championship matches in nine years.
Some rise from Lincoln City.

You will now have to wait until at least August to see Lincoln City lose a competitive game in 2026.
29 league games unbeaten. Champions with 103 points, the joint-second best return ever from a third tier team.
A true win for strategy.
