Building community is a positive sum game. Its existence alone has inherent value. And with every member that joins, that value increases. Take for example: Yesterday somebody was looking for help with their startup's content strategy. Within 3 hours, they had 4 offers of help. Think about that for a second. 4 people, who have never met. 4 people who kindly offered up their expertise. 4 people who, frankly, really give a shit about making sure others in their community are supported. But the star of this story is @justindirose, who joined GW just a few days ago. Justin jumped in within the hour of someone needing a hand, and helped out. Clearly - he made a big difference to someone's day. That, my friends, is what I like to call - a positive sum game. Knowledge is shared. Friendships are seeded. Support is given. Growth is happening. It's for this reason, and a million more, that I'm so delighted to get to build this community.
