I've run Comrades, paddled Dusi, summitted Kili, finished an Ironman, 100 mile trail run, got degrees, raised kids, got married. Trading is the toughest. You will never master markets. They will break you down, humble you & teach you more about yourself than you ever knew.

Out of my depth here, but some technical observations on IO stocks. Locally I noticed AFT diverging from KIO Plotted Fortescue (FMG) for ref on correlation KIO has formed a 6wk channel on daily. Weekly shows volatility contraction: little new supply offered to mkt. Long KIO today

Here's a snapshot of key ETF performance across asset classes in October and year-to-date. October was a month of extremes. Growth was down 5.5%, while Value rallied 5% to new all-time highs. Energy and Staples were up 10%+ while Tech and Comm. Svcs fell 8%+.

23yo, 970% return in the 2025 USIC. While others were taking the last puff out of chips, he was positioned for the first sign of distribution. Study folks like this. Don't limit your beliefs on performance. My favourite part is line 2 of his bio: NO PAID SUBSCRIPTIONS OR SERVICES
Today ended the note on a high, with both the largest single-day gain and the largest monthly gain. It’s extremely unlikely that I'll be able to replicate this in the future, and I know I was really lucky to have the market cooperate. Good night.

Silver I've seen many such purges over past 50 years. In this case, caused by those long over $90-$100 who claimed they would never sell. but they are now selling and saying they will never buy Silver again This is how the start of bottoms are formed

When folks like this get interested, sit up👇 I'm just in it because I see a determined CEO, a chart that is going in the right direction, and volume growing on the back of earnings.
$IOC.JO iOCO continues to deliver on its capital allocation strategy, buying back nearly 3% of its issued shares in the two weeks since its FY26 results. With cumulatively R2 per share in FCF guided for FY27 and FY28 (against today's R4.38 close) and management targeting a cut in the share count from 620m to 500m by FY28, it's still early innings – and that's before the pipeline of accretive roll-ups.

South Korea’s stock market $KOSPI is down so bad that the president is telling people not to commit suicide
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
President Lee's Oct 13 message encouraging people to live and call 109 was replying to news of declining suicide rates (largely from debt improvements), not the KOSPI drop on Oct 15. x.com/Jaemyung_Lee/s… en.yna.co.kr/view/AEN202610… kmib.co.kr/article/view.a…

A JP Morgan upgrade send the stock up almost 10% today on good volume. This is a textbook trend change.
Fourth straight day living above the 50-day EMA for Clicks Group, in a poor tape as pointed out by @Mercedarians. Not a trend change yet, but probabilities are growing. One to watch closely. Conservative counter. Positive sector momentum too, good DCP move today.

Kumba monthly - this counter has been trending down for over 5 years (since July 2021). Look how far single commodity shares can go in one direction.
