A large tree trunk has been uncovered beneath a glacier in the Alps, dated to around 6,000 years ago.
The species is Swiss stone pine.
Today, trees of that type cannot grow at that altitude because it is far too cold.
This means that when that tree was alive, the climate there had to be warmer than today.
6,000 years ago aligns with the Holocene climate optimum, a time when temperatures were far higher than now, even with far less atmospheric CO2.
Earth's climate is cyclical and Mother Nature self-regulates.
Narratives of doom serve political aims, not reality.

After years of pushing wind and solar, BlackRock's Larry Fink now admits forcing economies onto intermittent power was a mistake.
We need dispatchable power, he says, or risk energy shortages."
That admission comes after grids have already been weakened though, after bills have already surged, and after energy security has long been eroded.
Then there's Bill Gates.
In 2019, Gates said he had divested from fossil fuels, but his filings show otherwise. In 2024, the Gates Foundation Trust held hundreds of millions of dollars in fossil fuel companies, its largest exposure in years.
Today, the companies backed by Gates emit more CO2 annually than Russia, Japan and Germany combined.
Like Fink, Gates has conceded that reliable energy is indispensable, and that he no longer considers global warming an existential threat.
The timing of this backtracking isn't a coincidence.
It comes as the elites envision a new golden control method: artificial intelligence. AI data centers require enormous energy inputs that intermittent renewables simply cannot provide.
Wind and solar were imposed on economies, but they are not good enough for AI data centers.
When elite infrastructure is at stake, dispatchable power suddenly matters.
Climate change has served its purpose though: increased control and a massive wealth transfer.
Now comes the next power play.

Europe calls biomass clean energy, but the reality is brutal.
To power its green transition, the EU is burning millions of tons of wood pellets every year, shipped in from the US and Canada.
Europe is cutting down forests halfway around the world, grinding them into pellets and shipping them across the Atlantic to burn in its power stations.
Unsurprisingly, the total emissions here are higher than simply burning coal, according to peer-reviewed studies by the EU's own scientific advisors.
But countries like the UK, Denmark and the Netherlands do it anyway, because it technically counts as zero carbon emissions.

Major wind turbine manufacturers have been hit by an asbestos scandal.
At Australia's $4 billion Golden Plains wind farm, testing on turbines has come back positive. Units are now quarantined and the manufacturer, based in Denmark, is launching global checks across its supply chain.
Serious environmental concerns are mounting.
Wind blades can't be recycled, not economically or at scale. So tens of thousands of tons of blades are dumped every year, buried in pits with endless more coming as first-generation turbines hit their end of life (which is typically just 15 years).
An industry sold as clean is leaving mountains of toxic waste that can't be recycled.

An Australian Iranian and IGRC activist delivers a powerful message about how he views the direction Australia is heading in today...he draws many parallels with the Iranian Islamist and Marxist takeover.
Everyone needs to see and share this.

Well done this morning to Matt Canavan on the ABC's Insiders. The taxpayer funded broadcaster doesn't even try to hide their climate activism. See how Speers tries to cut him off when he starts making way too much sense about the government's costings (or lack therof) for this renewables madness.

Australian child psychiatrist Dr Jillian Spencer has just been fired for warning that puberty blockers are harming children.
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House Dr Jillian Spencer is a child and adolescent psychiatrist who was suspended from her job at the Queensland Children’s Hospital in April 2023, after raising concerns about the hospital’s use of puberty blockers and cross sex hormones to treat children with gender distress. These interventions have no evidence of benefit and have long-term harms like infertility, lack of sexual function, physical health problems and the risk of detransition and regret. Dr Spencer should not have been stood down for speaking up about children being medically harmed.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to do all in its power to ensure the reinstatement of Dr Jillian Spencer to her position of Senior Staff Specialist at the Queensland Children’s Hospital.

Had this war been fought only in the media, Hamas would have won it by a margin.
I’m saddened to see Hamas getting away with murder: refusing to release the hostages, refusing to surrender and actively denying aid from the civilian population. Instead, many countries blame Israel.
In this @SkyNewsAust interview I explain what Hamas is doing and why they’re trying to derail humanitarian efforts in Gaza. @AriellaNoveck

Australians deserve affordable power bills by using the resources we have in our own country.
While Australia uses only 0.12 billion tonnes of coal, China consumes 4.00 billion. We should be using our coal here first, not just exporting it to China!
Vote One Nation to ensure we utilise our resources for the benefit of all Australians.
Let's make energy affordable and secure our future.

Today Michelle Landry and I shopped like it was 2022 and it was quite the shock!
We used old supermarket catalogues to buy a trolley of items that cost $132 in 2022 before Anthony Albanese was PM.
Today the same trolley cost $215! I don't know how families are surviving.
The extra costs are a consequence of the PM failing to do what he said he would and cut your power bill by $275. Higher electricity prices make it more expensive to produce everything and that makes everything more expensive.
With voting opening tomorrow we need a change of government to the LNP. We will keep our gas for Australians first and build low cost nuclear power stations that will make groceries cheaper.
We can't afford 3 more years of Labor!

Of the many frauds perpetrated on the public in recent years this is the most far reaching and the hardest to dislodge. PLEASE SHARE.
