I want a bank that is nothing but a tradfi intermediary to my non-custodial Lightning wallet. Swipe a Visa card, bank messages a Bolt-11 invoice to the phone number I have registered to them, I pay it with my non-custodial LN wallet (Zeus, Phoenix, whatever), bank releases USD payment to vendor. Looks like any other credit pmt as far as vendor is concerned.
Breaking news from the latest session of the United Nations of Middle Earth: Mordor, the Mirkwood Authority, the Orc’s Republic of Moria, and the Emirate of the Easterlings have outvoted Gondor, Rohan, and Lothlorien to declare the Sack of Isengard a genocidal act, and the destruction of Mordor’s ring program a violation of international law. The Shire abstained from voting, a representative quoted as saying “Keep your nose out of trouble, and no trouble’ll come to you!”
Imagine being so dumb that you think a struggling family with multiple children who can’t afford eggs or bananas is being strangled in high federal taxes because of “the Jooooos!”. The working poor pay next to nothing in income tax. And something like .05% of the budget is aid to Israel, anyway. Pure scumbag anti-semitic propaganda, courtesy of @cenkuygur and @AbdulElSayed. 👎
This is one of the most comical ads this election cycle. Yes, Americans are chatting at the grocery store about how they can’t buy groceries because their tax dollars “go to Israel” 🙄 😂 nevermind the fact that Israel has invested 100% of military aid in the U.S. economy since Oct 7, and has also purchased over $1 billion *additional* in arms, according to DoD. Federal military aid is also prohibited from being spent on anything other than U.S. arms, so the line about healthcare is even more comical. El Sayed and his Islamist fans like Cenk Uygur want and expect American voters to be so stupid they never check.
Not only is this ad insane, conspiratorial, and antisemitic — it is also flat out false. El Sayed isn’t for the people of Michigan, he isn’t even for America. He is for the Muslim Brotherhood.
“How do you stop them from escaping?”
You don’t. These people all committed murder and got caught. A good number of them are too dumb to work through any sort of game theory. If 30 adrenaline-fueled guys suddenly think “I like my odds!” and rush the exit, congratulations, you get to kill one, 99 people get free, and at least some of them stick around long enough to beat you to death. The only way you stay alive is to yell “everyone is free to go, but if anyone tries anything against me I kill them!”

Over the last two days I went on Fox News and Newsmax to warn Americans about what's happening in France. Today, the images speak for themselves.
October 17, 2026. In Marseille, France's second-largest city, a mob smashed through the doors of City Hall and stormed the lobby chanting "It's the revolution, we're taking the Bastille." Shortly before, rioters had trashed a municipal police station, breaking windows and throwing smoke bombs inside. Shops on the main avenue were vandalized and barricades were set on fire. In Paris, masked black bloc crews fired mortar fireworks at police at Place de la République while tear gas filled the square. There were 166 arrests nationwide by midday and more than 600 protests across the country, after weeks of blockaded high schools. The Yellow Vests are back.
Now here's what every American needs to understand. What are these people demanding? More: higher wages, higher pensions, more public spending, more state. That's in a country where the government already spends more than half of everything the economy produces.
This isn't an accident. It's where 45 years of socialism lead. Since 1981, left or right, every French government has grown the state. Macron is just the final, most polished version of the same system.
Socialism doesn't create prosperity. It creates dependency. When people rely on the state for everything, every disappointment turns into anger at the state. And the state cannot allocate capital. It doesn't risk its own money, and it never goes bankrupt when it's wrong. It just borrows more and taxes more. Productivity stalls, wages stagnate and prices rise. Then people take to the streets demanding even more state. The loop feeds itself until it breaks.
America, watch closely. If the Democrats fully embrace socialism, this is the trailer for what comes next. History is accelerating. It took France decades to get here. It won't take you nearly as long.
Vote for less government, never more.
Pack it in, you insufferable, washed-up old crank. Nobody looks to you to figure out what their opinion about Gaza or any other geopolitical conflict should be. The only reason anyone buys the $150 arena tickets that allow you to live out your sunset years in $30m mansions is that they want to enjoy an evening out listening to some Pink Floyd oldies you wrote half a century ago. Get over yourself.
Never rely on a device-supplied seed phrase. That’s the most important rule. The only words the signing device should generate is the checksum.
Secondary considerations if you’re really paranoid but averse to multisig for some reason are air-gapped only, and load the seed on two different signing devices to confirm tx signatures are identical (this guards against seed exfiltration).
But the major, numero uno, top banana rule in Bitcoin cold storage is to never let the device create your seed phrase. You have no idea what it’s actually doing under the hood. Bad engineering (ColdCard Mk3 rng) and tampered devices (this new Ledger theft, apparently) prove that.
Dice, coin flips, playing cards, picking words out of a hat, whatever…take the time to physically generate your own entropy if you care about protecting your Bitcoin.
“Racism” has been the Left’s lazy auto-response to anything the Right does for decades, which is why it has lost its currency. However, it still carries weight when the charge is genuine; if you wear a hood and burn a cross on your black neighbor’s lawn, I’m not going to decline to call you racist because it’s a passé accusation.
Antisemitism, however, is hardly a lazy warn out charge in American politics, nor has it lost its currency. Jews are being attacked in the streets. Masked Islamists are taking over 10/7 vigils with openly pro-Hamas signage and rhetoric. If “in the abstract” means calling out a broad-based trend, then antisemitism is currently an “abstract” (general, widespread) problem in 2026 America and Europe in a way that racism really isn’t (although that has been rising on the far Right as well).
“Denouncing antisemitism in the abstract in America these days is like calling somebody racist; both have little currency in America these days...
We have a boy-who-cried-wolf problem in the West.”

Folks, the XBT sh*tcoin is absolutely ripping! $1,126 on neoxa right now! If you haven’t split it off and sold, what are you waiting for? This supply shock from miners not being able to dump is not going to last forever, take advantage of it. It isn’t hard, see my post below for detailed instructions.
Replying to @long_21m
The easiest way is to take advantage of the fact that the XBT chain is several thousand blocks ahead of the BTC chain. So if you create a transaction with a locktime set to the current height of the XBT chain - you can find this on mempool dot guide - there is about a month before it could possible be replayed on BTC. So:
1. create an account on neoxa (you can use my referral link below)
2. Get your XBT deposit address
3. Create the deposit tx in your Bitcoin wallet, with the locktime set to the XBT chain height, but don’t try to broadcast it (it won’t let you anyway)
4. Copy the hexadecimal code of the signed tx, and broadcast it on mempool dot guide (there is a link at the bottom). This saves you the effort of spinning up an XBT Knots node.
5. After six confirms you can trade your XBT for BTC, USDC, or any other supported pair.
6. Once you’ve sold the XBT, send the Bitcoin you split it from to another in-wallet address, so that deposit tx never becomes replayable on Bitcoin.
As for how to set the locktime and get the final tx hex to broadcast, that will differ by wallet vendor. I can tell you exactly how it’s done in Sparrow, but I’m not familiar with a wide variety of different wallets. Look for documentation, or maybe a BTC Sessions video, if you need wallet-specific transaction details.

How can anybody be this naive? Payroll taxes aren’t a “deposit”, they aren’t sitting safely in some bank account accruing interest from whatever loans and investments the bank makes. The government pretty much does one of two things with all incoming revenue, whatever the source: spends it on current needs (including current entitlement payments), or buys its own bonds. They can stick those bonds in “trust fund” for future needs, but it’s just an accounting fiction: when those bonds are redeemed, it’s US taxpayers who pay. But they are on the hook for your future SS payouts anyway, whether or not there is the intermediary step of paying off a matured bond. Nobody can fund their future obligations with IOUs they write to themselves.

I won’t be taking any money from “young working Americans”. I’ll be withdrawing from my 36+ years worth of deposits. Just give everyone back their SS contributions plus interest and everyone can fend for themselves going forward.

Social Security is a pay-as-you-go social program, not an investment with any guarantee of return. Under U.S. law (Flemming v. Nestor) workers have no contractual right nor property right to FICA taxes paid. Congress can alter benefits and eligibility at any time.

Hey Bitcoiners, the Blake2b/XBT sh*tcoin is pumping ($640 at last check), probably because @LukeDashjr currently won’t let miners sell their coinbase rewards. Good time to cash out, if you haven’t done so yet. This artificial supply shock won’t last forever!
Of course. Who would buy that dogshit? Buy equity in productive enterprises, physical assets, and Bitcoin, folks. US debt is garbage.
🚨 GOLDMAN SACHS DROPS DOOMSDAY STATEMENT: U.S. BONDS HAVE NO BUYERS
Goldman Sachs just admitted the long end of U.S. Treasury market is “totally bidless.”
Translation: almost nobody wants the 10- to 30-year debt the U.S. is trying to sell.
No buyers. None. Zero.
While Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent tells Congress we’re in an “illiquid period,” doubles then triples long-bond buybacks, taps the General Treasury Account to fund it and openly says “I am the house.”
Yields are surging anyway. The 10-year has pushed toward 5.3% and the 30-year is even higher, levels not seen in years while Japan, one of the biggest foreign holders, keeps selling Treasuries and bringing money home.
This was exactly warned by Japan’s @yutokanzakireal that the measures being prepared by Bank of Japan will affect the lives of billions of people and apologized to people of the West.
Soon after, Scott Bessent intervened and effectively took over BoJ operations which Japanese policymakers heavily criticized.
If the same ”bidless” condition hits the short-dated treasuries market, the entire U.S. debt market (and global) collapses.
The U.S. debt crisis will turn into a global liquidity crisis.
“Will the command ‘lightning-cli withdraw all utxos=[x,y,z]’ deduct the fee from those utxos only?”
Tested and confirmed this behavior.
Question for the @Core_LN team, or anyone who is an expert on Core Lightning:
I have a mix of on-chain outputs, some of which are mirrored on the Blake chain and some of which aren’t. I want to sweep all of the ones that exist on both chains to a separate wallet so I can split them and sell the XBT. It’s very important that I don’t mix in any Bitcoin-only inputs, even as part of the fee, because that will invalidate the tx on the Blake chain and defeat the purpose of what I’m doing. As a secondary consideration, I would prefer not to have any change received (ie a clean sweep).
Will the command ‘lightning-cli withdraw all utxos=[x,y,z]’ deduct the fee from those utxos only?
OR do I have to specify a spend smaller than the sum of [x,y,z] by an amount that will definitely cover the fee? (and then if I receive some stupid 1000sat change utxo, oh well nbd)
