If you're in Mississippi & voted by affidavit, you have til Tuesday November 10 to cure your ballot. The Mississippi Secretary of State used expired Experian credit data to "clean up" voter rolls, inactivating many eligible Mississippi voters who then voted by affidavit ballot.
ā€œDemocrat Scott Colom’s lead over incumbent Republican U.S. Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith has grown from 65 earlier to 1,138 votes with an estimated 96% of votes counted. Significant votes are still outstanding in Democratic-friendly Hinds County, as well as thousands of affidavit ballotsā€ mississippifreepress.org/liv…

How the hell did this Administration allow a 28-year-old DOGE operative with zero government experience to take over USAID, fire thousands of federal employees, and shut down lifesaving aid programs around the world? Ā  Not to mention that HR had zero record of him working there, he never completed his background paperwork to legally start working for the agency, and he didn’t even have an ID badge, because, officially, he didn’t exist as an employee. Ā  And yet, all on his own, this man was given the go ahead to lock staff out of their own systems and use your taxpayer dollars to gut lifesaving programs with zero transparency. Ā  The Trump Administration owes the American people and Congress answers. Who signed off on this? Why on earth was he given this kind of power? Ā  This wasn’t an accident. Someone handed this man unchecked power, someone knew he wasn’t legally authorized to use it, and someone decided that there was nothing wrong with that. Ā  Well, everything is wrong with that. Congress needs answers about this, and that is NOT optional. wired.com/story/a-28-year-ol…

On this eve of #MidtermElections you should know that Republicans have made the worst parts of Trump’s ā€œone big beautiful billā€ not kick in until AFTER the elections on January 1st 2027. YOU still have a chance to help stop them by giving Democrats a big majority. #VoteBlue

Q: If the administration has declared war on waste and fraud, can you explain the $420 million overpayment for a prison in Appleton, Minnesota, when the company offered it to the state of Minnesota for $75 million? BESSENT: That question is a waste of time.

It doesn’t get much more corrupt and stupid than this. Ā  Oil billionaire Jeffery Hildebrand owns one of the largest methane-polluting oil and gas companies in America. He and his wife gave more than $15 MILLION to Trump and Republicans. Ā  Trump then nominated his wife to be an ambassador and installed a former lobbyist for Hildebrand’s company in charge of rewriting methane regulations at the EPA. Ā  Now they’re getting rid of the program requiring oil and gas companies to investigate and fix some of their worst methane leaks. Ā  Beyond the insane corruption, it’s just STUPID beyond belief. Ā  If an oil company is leaking natural gas into the atmosphere, wasting energy and accelerating climate change, FIX THE DAMN LEAK. Ā  Why on earth would we make it easier for companies to waste perfectly usable energy while Americans are struggling to pay their energy bills? Ā  The only ones that stand to benefit are the companies operating old, leak-prone wells like Hilcorp. Those wells only produce 6% of our oil and gas but they release HALF of the industry's methane emissions. Ā  So let me get this straight. Ā  Your energy bills are through the roof. This won't meaningfully bring them down. We’re making it easier for oil companies to waste energy and pump more pollution into our atmosphere. Ā  And one of the biggest beneficiaries is a billionaire Trump donor whose former lobbyist helped write the rollback in the first place. Ā  I mean, COME ON. Ā  propublica.org/article/trump…

Billionaire oil executives donated MILLIONS to get Trump elected. Now they’re calling in the favor—and making a killing. It’s pay-to-play in Trump’s America. This is the most corrupt administration in history. nytimes.com/2026/10/30/busin…

How much stupider can we get
Trump is reportedly planning to restart war with Iran after the election. Some of us have been briefed on the war plan. And while I cannot disclose any details, I can say this: the plan is insane. It will not achieve objectives and will set off a new cycle of escalation.

Brazil’s Supreme Court has ordered an investigation into alleged election interference involving a donor network co-founded by JD Vance. We translated the full 38-page court order, and it goes WAY beyond that. Polymarket. Meta. AI. Rare-earth minerals. And that’s where things get REALLY interesting... meidasnews.com/news/brazil-o…

Indeed. They were caught. Seems the system works.
They tried to lie about their identity to prove that Minnesota needs stronger ID laws at the polls. The protections already in place were enough to catch them and they were charged with felony voter impersonation.

You go to a Trump rally and hear about Trump, Trump's enemies, and Trump's grievances. You go to an Obama rally and hear about democracy, healthcare, and the future of the country. The contrast is something else.

Daily reminder that Trump and Republican leadership are spending billions of your tax dollars on military operations against Iran that Congress never authorized, expanding Stephen Miller’s mass deportation agenda, and funding the president’s own vanity projects, while doing nothing to lower your grocery bill or make your life more affordable. In 6 days, you can help put an end to it.

Indeed.
Donald, you just spent more than a thousand words explaining why Bill Maher isn’t worth your time. You reviewed the dinner, disputed how long it lasted, complained about the laughter, questioned his ratings, cataloged everyone who supposedly begged you to meet him, and announced you won’t bother fact-checking anything he said because he’s simply not worth the effort. That’s an extraordinary amount of effort to declare someone irrelevant. And my personal favorite? You insist Maher desperately wants your approval while composing what amounts to a dissertation on why you no longer want to be friends. Donald, you’re the President of the United States. There’s a war with Iran, Americans are struggling with rising prices, and your administration is embroiled in multiple legal disputes. But apparently, the pressing national emergency is whether a comedian likes you. You’ve managed to turn the Oval Office into the world’s most expensive Yelp complaint department. Imagine having the nuclear codes and spending Sunday evening writing a thousand-word breakup letter to Bill Maher. And then signing it ā€œPresident Donald J. Trumpā€ as though that somehow makes the whole thing less embarrassing.

Replying to @SecWar
The Arsenal of Freedom? BAHAHAHAHA! Pete, this is coming from a Secretary of Defense who apparently doesn’t understand how to manage an arsenal, much less rebuild one. Your war of choice against Iran has consumed an estimated half to two-thirds of our inventory of certain missile-defense interceptors. The Pentagon’s own Inspector General identified strategic ammunition shortages and serious production bottlenecks. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that replacing certain interceptors will take at least five years, even with increased production. Now let’s talk about your other ridiculous claims. AMERICAN WORKERS? American manufacturing lost approximately 113,000 jobs in 2025. Even after this year’s partial recovery, manufacturing employment in September 2026 remained approximately 41,000 jobs below its December 2024 level. AMERICAN JOBS? Your administration has produced only about 728,000 net jobs across the entire economy through September 2026. That’s hardly the employment renaissance you’re advertising. AMERICAN MANUFACTURING? Your administration’s tariffs have increased costs for American manufacturers that depend on imported materials, components, and equipment. Announcing factories, promising investments, and delivering speeches aren’t the same as actually producing jobs. American workers built our defense industrial base long before you arrived. American taxpayers financed it. And your administration has spent billions depleting critical weapons stockpiles in a war it chose to start. An arsenal isn’t a campaign slogan, Pete. It’s a strategic national asset requiring competent leadership, long-term planning, reliable supply chains, and accountability. Perhaps you should figure out how to manage the arsenal we already have before taking credit for rebuilding American manufacturing.

A good reminder that the disastrous war we are in is all goes back to Trump ripping up Obama’s nuclear deal
OBAMA: Iran didn't have nuclear weapons because I had put a deal in place and I didn't have to fire a missile to do it. I just had to engage in diplomacy.
