Abbott and Costello! Now THIS is what I call good old-fashioned comedy! 🤣❤️
I swear Lou Costello does math exactly like I do! The numbers might not make sense to anybody else, but somehow they make perfect sense in my head! And the harder someone tries to explain why I'm wrong, the more convinced I become that I'm right! 😂
These two were absolute comedy legends. No fancy special effects needed, just brilliant timing, hilarious expressions, and the ability to make generations of people laugh.
Comedy like this never gets old. No matter how many times I watch these two, they still have me laughing like it's the first time! 🤣❤️

Patrick Stewart. Turned up so early and so unobtrusively to be a star in the reasonably priced car, we mistook him for a delivery driver and asked him to go round the back. Took his hat off and said, “But I’m the captain of the Enterprise”. Fucking nice guy.

SHE CUT THE WHOLE DRIVE-THRU LINE AND THE LADY BEHIND HER GOT EVEN!!
Petty genius, or should she have just let it go?
The line is wrapped all the way around the building. A woman cuts in, and the woman filming starts asking the window about paying for the order of the car that cut. "She cut the whole line." Then she's stuck at the window watching it play out.
This is petty. Completely petty. And I laughed the whole way through. Nobody yelled, nobody got hurt, and the only person who came out behind was the one who decided the line was for everybody else. Would I do it? Probably not. I'd sit there and stew and say something to my wife. That's why this woman is a legend and I'm not.
I spend a good part of every week teaching small children how to wait their turn. Apparently a few grown adults missed that lesson.
Expensive lesson, but she'll remember it.

Snoop Dogg didn't want Death Row. He wanted one album back. The price, he says: 12 years of work and $250,000. So he bought the whole label.
"Come work for us for 12 years. You get your masters back in 15." That was the offer, in Snoop's words, for the album he made at 22: Doggystyle.
For almost two years, he says, all he wanted was that one album. In 2021, Hasbro sold its eOne music division, Death Row included, to Blackstone for $385 million. In February 2022, Snoop announced he now owned the Death Row brand. Terms were not disclosed.
His answer to the people who said he still didn't own his songs: "I want all of them, not just mine."
The case for Snoop: his voice built that label, and no one should wait 15 years to own his own album.
The case for the label: it paid for the catalog, the masters were part of what it bought, and $250,000 is still an offer.
In the video below, Snoop walks through the calls that ended with him owning Death Row.
If a company paid for your work, should you still get to own it?

The funniest part of the SNL joke swap isn't always the joke. It's watching someone realize, in front of a live audience, that their friend has put them in a position they would never have chosen for themselves.
Trust hits differently when the person who knows you best also knows exactly how to embarrass you.

Son: Hey Dad, what was your favorite song when you were in high school?
Dad: Son, let me take you back to 1995 for a minute. This will give you goosebumps.

"They told me he probably wouldn't get adopted if she left without him. I went to the shelter to adopt one dog. Diesel — a young pit bull with a wiggle-your-whole-body kind of joy. I'd already pictured him in my car. Then I saw her. Daisy, curled quietly beside him, eyes only on him. When he stood, she stood. When he rested, she leaned into him like she needed his heartbeat to feel okay. A volunteer said they'd been found together on the back roads, starving, no owner ever showing up. Staff tried separating them once. Diesel cried for hours. Daisy stopped eating. They never tried again. People wanted Diesel. Nobody asked about Daisy. And "maybe we just split them up" kept coming up quietly — not because anyone wanted it, but because two pit bulls together is a hard sell. Then Diesel walked over, touched his nose to hers, and led her to me. Like he was telling her it was safe. She sat beside him and leaned in. This wasn't two dogs. It was one heart, two bodies. "If you still want Diesel, we'll start the paperwork," the volunteer said. "I need paperwork for both," I told her. She teared up. "You're serious?" They'd already chosen each other. Who was I to undo that? An hour later, we left as a family. Diesel rode proud at the window. Daisy curled against him and slept the deepest sleep — the kind that only comes when fear finally lets go. That was two years ago. Diesel still steals blankets and treats every day like the best one yet. Daisy runs the yard now, greets guests, demands belly rubs. People think Diesel protects her. Really, they protect each other. Happy Gotcha Day, Diesel and Daisy. Sometimes the best choice isn't picking one dog — it's refusing to break a bond that was never meant to be broken. ❤️

Patrick was one of those icons who we somehow all took for granted would always be with us.
I grew up as a fan, and was later gifted the privilege of becoming a colleague and friend, working with him for many years on “American Dad!”, “Family Guy”, and “Ted”. He was that rare actor who could take any bit of dialogue and elevate it, making a good writer sound great, and a great writer sound masterful. He was also as humble as they come. I remember exchanging emails with him a number of years ago when he was beginning day 1 of a new film. He commented to me that he always walked onto a new set feeling like the biggest novice there. My stunned reaction was the same as anyone’s would be. I said, “Patrick, if you feel that way, the rest of us are screwed.” We have lost a legendary actor today, and for many of us, a good friend. He will be deeply missed by the entire planet.
