If the best you can do is shout "liar" you've lost the argument. It's juvenile playground behaviour. Go off and come back with a better response based on facts not fury. I am a lawyer with 40 years political and legal experience of this in both London and Brussels. I'm waiting.....

Nice try Peter Why do you keep lying? Why do I have to keep calling you out? If you need to lie to sell something, it’s probably not worth buying.

BREAKING: In a stunning moment, Fox News just revealed that new polling shows that 64% of Americans disapprove of Donald Trump. If even Fox is admitting this, Trump's got big problems ahead of next Tuesday's midterms.

We'll need the same apology from the BBC once Brexit is reversed. #RejoinEU 🇬🇧🇪🇺
This is quite something ! Serbian RTV channel starts yesterday's bulletin by apologizing to viewers👇 "For years, we failed to fulfill our duty. We kept silent, turned a blind eye, reported events one-sidedly and failed to ask necessary questions. We owe our viewers an apology”

Just a casual reminder that Germans who “didn’t bother to vote” in 1932 didn’t get a chance again until 1946, after Hitler’s death. — There’s a lesson there.

There is not one world leader who respects him. Not one. They all know he’s an easily manipulated idiot.

My morale improved when I looked at your polling numbers. Does that count?
Has your life improved in the last 100 days? In any way? Have your bills gone down? Do you feel richer? Safer? Has your local community improved at all? For the average person, the answer is a resounding NO. Burnham is making tweaks as broken Britain slides further into terminal decline. He’s a talker, not a doer. He hasn’t changed the country one bit so far, and isn’t going to. We need fundamental change - and that's what I will bring. In our first 100 days, we will: Put the Royal Navy in the Channel and stop the boats forever. Begin the mass exit of over 1 million people who illegally entered Britain. We will make it impossible to live here illegally, so many will leave voluntarily. But, make no mistake, the deportation of those who don’t will be enforced. We will increase your tax-free personal allowance from £12,570 to £15,000 to keep money in your pocket. We’ll reduce your annual energy bills by £250. We’ll charge NO interest on loans for nursing students, lift the cap on medical school places and cut student loan issuance by 20%. If my ministers fail to deliver, I'll sack them. Simple as. The stakes have never been higher. It's time we have a government that acts like it.

I wasn’t expecting walking down the middle of the newly pedestrianised Oxford Street to feel so lovely (never a word I’ve used for Oxford St before!). It instantly feels like something that should have been done years ago. Well done, @MayorofLondon, for finally getting it done.

Disappointing to hear Andy Haldane talking such nonsense. The 2016 Brexit referendum created a cloud of uncertainty because it led to trade barriers going up. Rejoining the EU would bring trade barriers down.
"It would throw up a huge dust cloud of uncertainty." Former chief economist at the Bank of England Andy Haldane says reopening a debate about Brexit ‘would be a damaging thing'.

We need to rejoin - retake - our place at the top table of Europe. We used to be one of the biggest and most influential members of the richest trading bloc in the world.

🚨 Jose Mourinho on Harry Kane winning the Ballon d’Or: “Harry Kane winning the Ballon d’Or is powerful proof that it’s never too late to achieve greatness in life. I am incredibly proud of him. He thoroughly deserves this award. At his age he has already achieved so much, done more than most, and truly merits every recognition that comes his way. There is no other player more deserving of this honour than Harry Kane. He was outstanding last season and has earned every bit of this success. I am genuinely happy for him.”

Exclusive: Neil Kinnock praises Andy Burnham's Brexit debate for 'treating citizens like adults' Former Labour leader tells @MirrorPolitics : "The PM is showing how an honest discussion can take place in a democracy where vital national decisions involve the whole electorate. He's treating the citizens like the adults they are." He adds: "If we want buoyant revenues, quality public services, economic advance, and security it's clear that freedom of movement is essential." mirror.co.uk/news/politics/b…
