Back in the 60's the message was clear, we are all human beings. That was a goal we could all share & strive for. Then the Left brought skin colour back into politics after we had spent 50 years gradually ignoring it. We will get back on track. Identity Politics Must fall.

Wow. Just wow. 💥 Listening to Liz Truss on @TalkTV where she says Boris Johnson was so afraid that, after Brexit, hundreds of thousands of Eastern Europeans would go home, leaving the UK with a massive skills shortage. So he thought he'd fill the shortage in skills with Middle Easterners and Africans, hence the Boris Wave. Further, the top dogs at the Bank of England are full of socialists. They thought Liz and Kwasi were too right wing so threatened the whips to get rid of them or they'd do damage to the economy by, inter alia, hefting interest rates up. And finally Liz Truss says despite Kemi's tough stance, the Conservative Party is still full of MPs who are more concerned with their standing on the liberal London dinner party circuit than they are about the Tory members. They still are Conservative in name only, I'm afraid.

To use a football phrase… “Its gone to VAR… and Caroline has been sent off for simulation”
Exclusive: Nigel Farage's "physical altercation" during the State Opening of Parliament was with the Lib Dem MP Caroline Voaden - and has caused an major row between Reform and the Lib Dems. Lib Dem sources say Voaden was left "shocked and shaken" after he "shoved" her to secure a place in the procession of MPs to the King's Speech. Video from the Commons Chamber that day shows Farage and Voaden making their way down from their benches together. Voaden reported the incident to the Serjeant at Arms and says Farage was asked to apologise - but hasn't. A Reform spokesman denies any wrongdoing by Farage, saying "it was the Lib Dem MPs being aggressive towards Nigel". Lib Dems say that is "utter nonsense" Farage said yesterday that the "physical altercation" was the reason he didn't put up a fight to be in the Chamber for the Budget after his prayer card to save a space was removed. He said he thought that after the row with Voaden, it was "better to avoid conflict". But in a further twist, a Commons spokesman says Farage's card was only removed because it didn't have a date stamp, which are required to reserve a spot. Thanks for the honesty, James. An actual eyewitness on the floor confirms what the footage showed: standard Commons congestion turned into a cheap victimhood PR stunt. The Lib Dems deliberately instigated the confrontation, ran to the lobby press crying assault, and then acted stunned when the video and first-hand accounts completely blew up the narrative. Embarrassing politics.
I’ve tried to find myself in the video because I remember this pretty clearly. I think I’m one row back just out of shot on the left of the screen. It’s completely beyond me how and why Caroline has presented herself as the victim here. She was bloody rude and really quite confrontational and she did it for no other reason than Nigel is Nigel and she wanted to give him a piece of her mind. Anything other than it being a bit of a rush and a squeeze because of the occasion is nonsense. From what I remember Caroline was both the instigator and the aggressor.

A responding Met police officer sided with the Islamists who attacked my restaurant yesterday. He said nothing had happened to me yet, asked why I called them, and I told him to leave as he'd already made up his mind. If you're not Muslim, you're 2nd class citizen in the UK.

🚨 Angela Rayner is expected to appoint an “Islamophobia tsar” by the end of this week, to help enforce the Government’s “anti-Muslim hostility” definition — Islamophobia by another name. As the Free Speech Union warned from the outset, the definition has been used to silence people who criticise, debate or mock Islam. Those targeted include politicians such as Shadow Justice Secretary @NJ_Timothy, @RupertLowe10 and Reform UK’s @RobertJenrick, as well as private citizens. It is a state-approved Islamic blasphemy code. Earlier this year, FSU Policy and Research Director @DavidRoseUK exposed troubling connections between Islamist organisations and all five individuals the Government hand-picked to sit on the working group that drafted the definition. Now the Government is refusing to say which organisations took part in the consultation that shaped it. @NJ_Timothy submitted a Freedom of Information request and was initially told that the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government had deleted every submission — in apparent breach of the Government’s own data policy. The Department later admitted that it does hold the responses, but it still refuses to say which organisations or individuals took part and influenced the definition. What is the Government covering up? Did Islamists help to create a state-approved blasphemy code? @AngelaRayner has serious questions to answer. On Tuesday, the Prime Minister met Muslim community leaders in Downing Street and told them: “We want to counter any form of hatred, discrimination, Islamophobia, wherever we find it.” Sitting next to him was Akeela Ahmed, one of the five members of the working group. In 2018, she called for the Islamophobia definition published by the All-Party Parliamentary Group on British Muslims to have “legal power” so that it could be “implemented by the government and the police”. She later told MPs that Islamophobia “cannot simply be reduced to or restricted to hate crime”, complaining that a columnist could write about a “Muslim problem” without it being treated as Islamophobia, “or simply being seen as free speech”. She also wanted the definition to cover “microaggressions during school runs”. All of this considered, there is little reason to hope that whoever becomes tsar will be good news for free speech. Among the frontrunners is Sayeeda Warsi, the former Conservative Party co-chairman and now a crossbench peer. She has refused to distance herself from extremists, claiming that doing so would be “playing by the rules set by the racists”, and has said that the term “Islamist” is “often a fig leaf used by Islamophobes to disguise their bigotry”. The FSU has launched a legal challenge to stop this definition. Parliament abolished the blasphemy laws in 2008; we will not allow a new one to return under a new name. Help us stop an Islamic blasphemy law in Britain 👇
The name of the government's highly-controversial 'special representative' to oversee its equally controversial definition of 'anti-Muslim hostility' will be announced this week, ministers told Muslim groups at Downing Street yesterday. I understand that the shortlist of 12 includes, though is not limited to: Some of these names have, to say the least, questions over them. Asim, for instance, was sacked as an adviser to the last government after calling for a film about the Prophet Mohammed's daughter to be banned. And the definition itself, as I and others have previously argued, is deeply sinister. In the hands of some of these people, it could be weaponised to do really serious harm. ✍️ Andrew Gilligan Article | spectator.com/article/sayeed… | @mragilligan

The longstanding questions surrounding Dougie Smith, Rupert Lowe, Scott Benton, Dan Hodges and Restore Britain are becoming increasingly interesting. Dougie Smith, reportedly known as ‘The Wolf’, is a longstanding Conservative political fixer whose influence within Westminster has been widely discussed. In November 2019, Rupert Lowe withdrew his Brexit Party candidacy in Dudley North, a decision that benefited the Conservatives. Questions have also been raised about his political connections and the influence of former Conservative figures within Restore Britain, including Scott Benton. Then there’s Dan Hodges, an outspoken critic of Reform UK. The question is not whether these individuals share identical political views, but whether there are wider political relationships and interests worth examining. Is Restore Britain entirely independent of the Conservative establishment, or are there political connections that deserve greater transparency? Dougie Smith. Remember that name.

Carney on EU associate membership: “Canada as a whole become a more independent, more sovereign nation.” How exactly do you protect Canada’s sovereignty by moving decision-making closer to Brussels? Even worse, how do you expect your economy to improve by getting closer to this Marxist wonderland?
