The implementation of the No Surprises Act goes against Congressional intent. It is a predictable downward spiral on payments that will negatively impact ALL emergency medicine contracts.
@SecBecerra, this is what happens when insurance companies "negotiate" fair reimbursement.
The No Surprises Act…this was what independent physicians warned about all along.
@SecBecerra why are you implementing this in a way that flouts Congressional intent to guard against EMTALA being weaponized against physicians to further enrich insurance companies?

‼️Regulators plan to implement NSA is DEEPLY FLAWED & fails to align w/Congressional intent.
Many in Congress sign letter led by Reps. Suozzi, Wenstrup, Ruiz, Bucshon to say: regulations must be revised.
Will @CongBoyle @RepSusanWild @mgs @USRepMikeDoyle @RepCartwright sign?

If @realDonaldTrump and @senatemajldr ram thru a replacement now, the SCOTUS will have a majority of justices appointed by presidents who finished 2d in the popular vote, confirmed by senate majorities who represented less than half of the country.
A tyranny of the minority.
