Honest tweet now. This account is run by a tiny team of NHS staff. We have tried our best to get out what is happening on the ground. But we really need your help. If you support what we are doing please will you follow and RT this to your followers? Thank you 🙏🏻

Did you know Tory MP @danny__kruger claimed £3,598 on expenses for his utility bill last year? This was the highest claim by any MP to cover their bills over such a short space of time. Retweet this if you think Kruger should pay for his own gas and electric supply.

The Bank of England has admitted inflation has peaked and will fall but they still increased their base interest rate. The only explanation is economic sadism on their part. Why do people have to suffer for their stupidity?

Today’s anti-strike bill is the latest attack on our democratic freedoms. The Tories are removing our rights to strike and protest because they know that when we come together, we can win. Their greatest fear is solidarity, because solidarity is our greatest strength.

US health insurance giant, Centene, is the largest single provider of NHS GP care in England. A company that even the Daily Mail called “profit greedy”. There is a For Sale sign up on the NHS.

No one should be seeking to make a profit within a public healthcare system. It introduces a new consideration within the planning and/ or running of healthcare services. A public healthcare system should have one central goal; the provision of excellent care to patients.

I was suspended from the Conservative Party for having serious concerns about the harm that ‘vaccines’ cause. Nadhim Zahawi has been fined for tax avoidance and breaking the ministerial code and he’s still a Conservative MP. Funny old world, isn’t it?

Neoliberalism wants 2 parties fighting for the same thing It wants neolib gung-ho Toryism to alternate with neolib-serving Labour 'moderatism' it gives semblance of democracy (an illusion) When in reality its a 1 party state constructed by & for the elite nitter.gq/Lashesxx/status/149007…
The neoliberal movement is probably the least understood and the most important-to-understand movement in the last century precisely because people believe so much of its BS without even knowing what it is and was - and how they came to believe this bullshit in the first place

I'm going to leave the politics to others. The tax part of the Zahawi story, and therefore my role, feels over. But I wanted to sign off by correcting three takes which we’re going to hear a lot of, and I think are wrong. taxpolicy.org.uk/2023/01/29/…

NOTE RE ZAHAWI He was sacked NOT because of his tax position re Gibraltar (many Tories linked to tax havens) NOT because he issued legal threats NOT because he's earned millions as consultant In Iraq while minister But because he didn't say he was under HMRC investigation Wow

Drop a fag butt in the street and get fined £80. Dump millions of gallons of sewage in the river and 292 Tory MPs will vote to let you keep doing it for the next 15 years.

King Charles inherited 45,667 acres of land across England & Wales, worth around £650ml, generating income of £24ml pa. He didn’t pay a single penny in inheritance tax & will only pay income tax if he volunteers. On the 6th May you will pay to put a crown on his head. Wrong.

Today, on Holocaust Memorial Day, I'm thinking about this little boy, the same age as my kids, proudly showing a flower to another child, outside a gas chamber at Auschwitz, where they were all murdered moments later. It is so important for us all to remember what happened.

We've just launched a major report: between 2018 and 2020, almost 400,000 people earning less than £13k received a penalty for filing a tax return late. Very few had any tax to pay. But they were fined at least £100, and often thousands of pounds. taxpolicy.org.uk/penalties/

I know we are wrestling with big things but I am slightly obsessed with establishing why Sunak's trousers are always a couple of inches too short. Is he proud of his dainty ankles? Does he shop in the children's section due to his slim frame? Is it a coded message to the ERG?

We don’t need heavy metal singer Rod Stewart lecturing us on politics. This buffoon should just stick to singing his boring & shouty hits such as ‘Maggie May’ & ‘Crocodile Rock.’ A lifetime of lechery & skunk has led him to such bizarre political views. Young pop fans, BEWARE!😡
