It’s a huge deal for American cycling. Too bad this beautiful sport doesn’t get more attention in the USA.
Did not get to watch the UCI World Championship Road Race from Montreal until on replay today. Just a fantastic win for the USA’s Brandon McNulty. Not only the first American winner in 33 yrs, the first American man to podium in the WC road race in 33 yrs.
Took a chance to get away from the field with 30ish KM to go. A well-timed move at a moment when others didn’t appear to have a sense of urgency to chase and he got far enough away while competitors froze in a window of indecision. Also a huge assist to American teammates Matteo Jorgensen and Quinn Simmons for covering attacks or disrupting chase efforts by others to bring him back.
For Americans in the pro peloton now is the era of “superdomestiques,” very good riders who are outstanding teammates who do work for bigger riders on their teams. But much like Sepp Kuss, McNulty has shown when given the chance to ride for himself he can do some great things…yesterday being the latest and best example!

Talk to your kids about the dangers of fentanyl. If you don't know the dangers yourself... get educated ASAP. We recently had an amazingly brave listener on our show who tragically lost his 16-yr old daughter earlier this year in Plano.

Fentanyl is 50x more potent than heroin and is the No. 1 killer of Americans ages 18-45.
Disguised as prescription drugs, these pills may contain fentanyl or methamphetamine, and individuals think they're taking a prescription opioid, such as oxycodone (Oxycontin, Percocet), hydrocodone (Vicodin) or alprazolam (Xanax).
They are often sold on social media and e-commerce platforms — making them available to anyone with a smartphone, including teens and young adults.
These kids have NO IDEA they are taking fentanyl — and it only takes a very small dose - 2 milligrams - to be LETHAL… that’s roughly the same size as 10-15 GRANULES of salt. Granules. Look at the pic of the penny below.
