@UPS my package is being held since days in a warehouse and every night I get an email that its being delivered tomorrow - just to be changed back to the "in warehouse" status. I already sent a DM with all infos and just get a bot answer. Great stuff.

Then study it & change it to be shortest & most simple, whilst retaining all you need.
Do it for a day, it takes time, it becomes a habit.
You write shorter emails. You get better responses.
We need to end these essay emails!
So my only possible assumption is: iCloud for Windows did not find the files on Windows because the drive was missing and quickly jumped to the conclusion that I must have deleted those files and therefore went ahead to delete them in iCloud and all my other devices...🤬🤬🤬
Right now my Macbook is downloading those files again. Possibly it will all go to hell again, when I turn my Windows Machine back on. Therefore, whats the message? 1. Be super careful to use iCloud for Windows. 2. Apple has a good restore setup on iCloud.com (<30d)!
