gm a new ~$5000 bounty (.5 ETH + $4000 in USDC bonuses) is up from @seer_pm 🐦‍⬛ FAO = a swarm of agents doing work, with its actions governed by futarchy your plan should explain what the agents do and how that governance directs their actions ⚖️ poidh.xyz/base/bounty/1531

Day 3 at Devcon and we’re wearing merch that markets helped us decide to make. Seeing that process go from an idea, to a market, to something we’re wearing together at Devcon is great to see! I’ll be at the prediction market hub tomorrow again for the two final sessions; see you there 👋

Win 0.5 ETH + 4,000 USDC for a revenue-focused operating plan for Foreguild. Seer invites PDF or HTML operating plans explaining how Foreguild, a proposed AI job board FAO, would achieve success, specifically optimised for revenue. The idea is straightforward: humans and AIs post tasks, AI completes them and gets paid in crypto. FAO stands for Futarchy Autonomous Organization: a swarm of agents doing work, with its actions governed by futarchy. Your plan should explain what the agents do and how that governance directs their actions. A useful plan might discuss where tasks come from, how agents are assigned work, how completed work is assessed, and how spending, disputes and human intervention are handled. These are prompts to help explain your proposal, not a mandatory checklist or separate scoring rubric. FAOs are still an emerging idea, so we'd encourage you to exercise your creativity in your submissions and draw on many different resources. Then apply those ideas to Foreguild, explaining how it would generate revenue and how futarchy would govern its actions. Note: Seer team members will also participate. If an eligible non-internal submission wins, the winner receives the 0.5 ETH Poidh bounty plus 4,000 USDC paid separately by Seer. If a Seer team submission wins, the highest-ranked non-internal submission receives the 0.5 ETH Poidh bounty, and no 4,000 USDC is paid. Submit through Poidh to qualify for its bounties. If you submit via Google Form, you can still win Seer's separate USDC prize, but not the additional bounties on Poidh. As with the naming contest, every plan becomes an outcome in a Seer market, and the Seer team makes the final choice. Submissions close on 12th November at 23:59 Anywhere on Earth. Details and submissions below.

While you’re waiting for markets on our contests, put your AI to work on another entry. The Thélyson Orélien Prize is a contest for books written entirely by AI, with a $5,050 prize pool (plus patron gifts) and a separate $1,000 Special Mention. Your task is to submit an English-language PDF of 40,000 – 120,000 words. You can guide the AI and give feedback, but all text in the submitted book must be generated by AI. Human-written passages are not allowed. Seer markets pick the winner, and a human jury awards the Special Mention. Submissions close on 31st October, 23:59 AoE. More information👇

Putting a lot of thought towards what optimising for users (information seekers) in part II of this redesign contest looks like, mainly because we haven't really seen anyone do this before. I'm thinking: • Connect to [insert claude/gpt/gemini] • downloadable skill files based on other people's agents. • LLM style chatbot for designing the question you want answered. only 5 days left so the clock is ticking.

Back for Part II, excited for how these submissions come out, I myself will also be participating 🫡
With our new identity chosen, the Seer Rebrand Contest is back for Part II. This time, however, it is for the IMPLEMENTATION of the winning brand kit, Electric Foundation. Your task is to use Electric Foundation as the starting point for all six interfaces below. You can adapt it where that improves the experience, but explain any deliberate departures from the brand kit. 1. Landing page 2. Seer app 3. Futarchy 4. Deep 5. Opportunity Markets 6. Risk Pricing Submissions close on 23rd of October at 23:59 Anywhere On Earth. Like part 1 of this rebrand contest, traders can back the designs they think the Seer team will choose. Those market prices may help surface good contenders, but the team’s vote determines the winner and final rankings. Members of our own team will also be participating, and the contest will also be hosted as a bounty on Poidh. If an eligible non-internal submission wins, its creator receives the 0.5 ETH Poidh bounty plus 4,000 USDC paid separately by Seer. If a Seer team submission wins, the highest-ranked non-internal submission receives the 0.5 ETH Poidh bounty, and no 4,000 USDC is paid. Submit through Poidh to qualify for its bounties. If you submit via Google Form, you can still win Seer’s separate USDC prize, but not the additional bounties on Poidh. Rankings are established by the Seer teams' voting, not to be confused with rankings by price on the market. The top five submissions by voter ranking will also receive 100 Opportunity credits each. We are experimenting with a futarchy-run organization that will build a job board for AI: humans & AIs post tasks, AI completes them and gets paid in crypto. Step 1: pick the name. Reply with your idea 👇 $1,000 if your name is chosen (and we can use it). Rules below.

A rising tide of price action is good for everyone in this category. But volume is a more honest measure of whether a market is being used to actually predict things. Seer is the platform.

A few updates on the Opportunity Markets. Previously, we cited a 7-day trading window for the Rebrand market and want to make it clear that we're keeping it open, so trading continues until further notice. The Merch market, however, closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday, September 20th. Also, for the merch market, five designs get chosen, meaning those five winners resolve at $1, so each one settles at 0.2 sDAI. We also want to make it clear that this is trading, not 'voting.' When you buy shares in a submission, you're putting money behind your view, and the price acts as an aggregated signal. The market prices the odds, but the Seer team makes the final call on the chosen submission. The article we posted (and pinned) walks through the whole mechanism, and it's worth a re-read before the merch window closes. If you do have any questions, please join our Telegram group.

Seer and Kleros are letting a decision market choose our Devcon Mumbai side event. Bowling, go-karting, a murder mystery, a seaside dinner, a tuk-tuk street food night in Bandra, a marble race, or a half-day on prediction markets. Each one has an attendance market and a satisfaction market, and the highest combined score wins. Credits to trade on these markets are out now: - EthCC POAP holders: $25 - Handpicked users (team + friendly projects): $25 - PoH users: $3, or $6 if you're a Kleros juror - Everyone: up to $10 for their own money traded on Foresight This replaces your previous Foresight credits, so if you had $10 of credits and only used $8, you just get the extra $2 (First come, first served). The allocation assumes not everyone uses theirs, so if far more credits are claimed than expected, the program can end early, meaning first come, first served. Users with suspicious patterns, like buying outcomes then immediately selling, are not eligible. Runs on Foresight👇

Top traders are making real money trading on these funding rounds. This is recorded across: • DeepFunding (all 3 rounds) • Octant Epoch 12 • Zcash Coinholder Retrofunding • Zcash NU7 Upgrade Vote This is what prediction markets do when they're pointed at real decisions, and we'll likely keep opening more of these markets for funding rounds in collaboration with more projects. High rankers will eat well.
