HR Manager: “We need your company laptop returned by the end of today.”
Employee: “Is my employment ending?”
HR Manager: “No. It’s being reassigned to another department.”
Employee: “I have two reports due tomorrow. What am I supposed to use?”
HR Manager: “Your manager will arrange something.”
The employee handed over the laptop and requested written confirmation.
The next morning, his manager called.
Manager: “Why haven’t you submitted the reports?”
Employee: “HR collected my laptop yesterday.”
Manager: “You should have made arrangements before handing it over.”……….
