Beautifully visualized.
I captured this video in my lab to show the power of medicines called T-cell engagers. Left: T cells move in and out of a cancer tumoroid, largely ignoring it. Right: Add a T-cell engager, and the T cells attack. Once they recognize their targets, they tear through the tumor.

Somehow this is incredible and depressing at the same time. The Matrix (1999)
We placed the fruit fly brain inside Odyssey-3, a frontier world model. The lil’ guy is now flying around totally imagined, simulated worlds all by itself 🫶

Last weekend it even hallucinated what a certain command flag does. How am I supposed to trust this and not look at the code? What harnesses should capture this?
software is solved. don't read the code. the model is smarter than you so why bother? 🙃

There are hundreds of facebook pages of people asking other people to edit or enhance their family pictures. Usually this is one prompt away. Claude for Chrome is out since earlier this year, yet even more tech savvy people are still stunned by what you can do with it. I don't know what your definition of "normies" is but you're overestimating what people are doing with AI.
I'd call this a bubble in a bubble Tech people somehow still think normies are not spinning up personal software already They're not doing it in Claude Code in a terminal like tech people for sure But their AI chat app is already doing it for them without them even realizing they're building personal software, like generating PDF reports, full web app dashboards and even entire web apps That will keep getting more advanced and soon ChatGPT will just spin up a Photoshop clone (but ofc only if they need it, preferring to just do their photo edits for them) Everyone will mostly use personal ephemeral software inside AI chat apps I think Some software moats will remain like social media (community), ecommerce (think like Shopify and Stripe), etc but they will just be used by AI to build the personal software with So maybe that's the point here, become a tool agents use to solve their user's problems and charge agents for it (like many are saying)

This has been common knowledge for over ten years. Anything below a 4.8 is suspicious.
Airbnb's entire rating scale is now 4.5 to 5.0 You can't make this up 😂

Few points: 1. this an old thread from 2 years ago 2. They had top funnel but didn't drive users down a bottom funnel. How are you only going to rely on visitors without having them create an account, capture their email-address, sign up for a subscription, have a newsletter, a discord, a patreon, ... They fully relied on a third party that can shut them down any day without owning the customer. Some commenters suggest they made a mistake by adding a multiple languages and creating brand new urls for this and then reverting. Or that AI generated translations killed their ranking. It doesn't matter if they made a mistake or Google did. They lost their customer base because they didn't own them, the platform did. Same goes for Youtube, Twitch, TikTok, ... they can shut you down at any time and if that's your only revenue stream you're fucked.

Some data we recently assembled on entrepreneurship/compute in Europe: eudata.vercel.app. We hope that one of the useful roles that Stripe can play is in collecting and publishing empirical data pertaining to entrepreneurship and industry in Europe. There's growing appetite to get Europe on a better footing, and cross-sectional comparisons can often shine light on where opportunities lie. If you're interested in this kind of thing, we publish more at stripeeconomics.substack.com.

Who can watch my kids tomorrow I want to play with this.
If Jev can't generate text, what can it generate? Unlike an LLM, *Jev picks from a list of options* * Is this email a refund request? * Should we turn left or right? * Is this a hotdog? Traditionally we've called these "classifiers" but Jev is different in that...
