I took some heat from insinuating baseball players were the best athletes
Looks like I wasn’t that crazy after all
People hate it, but track doesn’t transfer to sport as well as a lot of people would like you to think
Sustainable loungewear online is part of a clear shift: sustainable products account for 32% of market growth while holding just 17% of overall market share. A growing share of growth, with room to expand. #SustainableLoungewear
💯 @GOP
Charles Barkley: “What they do a really good job of, let’s make it about white or Black, immigrants, Hispanics. It’s really rich people making poor people fight with each other. People need a reason why they life suck. We’re all in the same boat. A lot of these people think they’re on the team. You’re kinda on the team, but you’re not really in the game”

Charles Barkley said the quiet part out loud. They hand you a team jersey so you never notice you’re not in the game.
Race, immigration, white vs. Black , that’s the sideshow. The real split is rich people at the table and poor people fighting over the scraps. Same boat. Different uniforms. Barkley gets it.
High quality loungewear pays off per wear: a $95 set worn 200 times costs under 48¢ each time, less than half the 63¢ for a $25 set worn 40 times. Cost-per-wear matters. #Loungewear

Everyone obsesses over level in recruiting, but here's the truth: After you graduate, no one cares what level you played.
Employers love hiring former athletes. Period.
Not because they were D1, D2, or D3, but because being a college athlete proves you have discipline and work ethic.

Free hitting advice
Use the whole field.
Refuse to strikeout.
Walk more than you strikeout.
Compete your ass off.
Your approach is more important than mechanics.
I need a new #Wardrobe
A capsule wardrobe is 20-40 items, not counting underwear or gym gear. The 3-3-3 framework: pick 3 tops, 3 bottoms, 3 layers you already love. Wear only those 9 for a week. You'll find the gaps fast. #CapsuleWardrobe #MinimalistStyle sfstyles.myshopify.com/blogs…

Making his MLB debut hitting in the 3 hole for the Giants.
No Perfect Game Ranking.
Never Drafted.
Did not play D1 baseball.
Juco Bandit.
Incredible job by the scout that signed him Paul Faulk.
Players
If you are relentless and genuinely outworking the competition.
Believe in yourself.

Analytics have ruined baseball. Baseball needs .300 hitters chasing .400. It needs line drives to the gaps, singles turned into doubles with speed. It doesn't need everybody swinging for the fences and striking out 200 times. Give me a team full of high OBP/high contact guys

Player A is better than Player B as high school seniors.
Player A signs at a D1 school.
Player B signs at a juco.
Player A sits the bench as a D1 freshmen.
Player B is a juco starter for the fall and spring season.
Player B now signs at the same D1 school that player A is at and plays over him.
or
Player B signs at a D1 school and Player A circles back to juco to catch up on playing time.
This is more common than most realize.
Nothing replaces game experience.
Go where you have the highest perfect chance to play as a freshman.
Go where you are wanted and needed.
