Glad others are catching on
It saddens me that CNN has basically just turned Harry Enten into a spokesperson for their Kalshi slop

What?
Trump: I have two beautiful sisters. One was a federal judge, top federal judge. The other is beautiful but I never had an interest in dating her.

Trump's affordability message: "You could even come to Mar-a-Lago. You'll be my guest. The problem is that for $5,000 the most you'll be able to buy is a hamburger and maybe a small dessert. I'm not even sure you could buy that! No, don't go there. It's not a good place if you're price conscious."

This is a great initiative. Bring the $3 NYC ferry to Harlem, Washington Heights/Inwood (Dyckman St.), and the West Bronx.
Over 15 years ago, we invested $20 million in a pier at West 125th Street that still has never had ferry service. All up the Hudson, the story is the same. @CnDelarosa, @althea4theBX, and I want to grow our transit options along the shore.👇

We’ve known for a while and we’ve been studying hard, but it’s time to start preparing the general public
Beyoncé channeling Little Richard and Sister Rosetta Tharpe during the trilogy era feels like a very intentional nod to what Act III could represent. Because if we're talking about a gospel, rock & roll and blues album, these two figures are essential to understanding the history she's potentially preparing to explore—

Navi Pillay’s record should raise far more than serious questions about the Nobel Committee’s judgment. It should disqualify her as a recipient of the peace prize. 🔴 When a car bomb struck Denmark’s embassy in Pakistan after Danish newspapers republished the Muhammad cartoons, former Danish foreign minister Per Stig Møller says Pillay’s advice was not to defend freedom of expression, but to introduce censorship. 🔴 Her response to Charlie Hebdo was no better. She called the magazine “doubly irresponsible” for publishing Muhammad cartoons, described them as “malicious and deliberately provocative,” and said she “fully understands why people wish to protest strongly.” In other words, when Islamists answer speech with threats and murder, Pillay’s instinct is to rebuke those exercising free speech rather than the extremists. 🔴 In 2022, Pillay defended fellow UN commissioner Miloon Kothari after he invoked the antisemitic trope of a “Jewish lobby” controlling social media and questioned Israel’s UN membership. Kothari later apologised. A planned event honouring Pillay at Berlin City Hall was cancelled after the mayor withdrew support. 🔴 In 2010, she declined to attend the Nobel ceremony for the imprisoned Chinese democracy campaigner Liu Xiaobo, citing a low-level scheduling conflict in Geneva, as Beijing pressured foreign officials to boycott the event. 🔴 At the antisemitic Durban II conference in 2009, Pillay remained seated while Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad delivered his tirade against Israel and Western delegations walked out. She condemned the speech afterwards—but later admitted that she had been “naive” about Ahmadinejad. 🔴 And a review of her first two years as UN human-rights chief found no public statements by Pillay on human rights abuses in dictatorships as Cuba, North Korea, Eritrea, Saudi Arabia, Sudan or Belarus. This is the track record on which the Nobel Committee—and a chorus of commentators around the world—now celebrate this activist as a champion of human rights, freedom and peace. Despicable.

Navi Pillay oversaw the communication of names of over 50 dissidents to China. All staffers who directly handed over names - Lidiya Grigoreva, Elena Kontouri-Tapiero, Kurveena Pyneeandy - were promoted. I was fired for speaking up. Families of the dissidents testified in court.

“COMPLICIT IN GENOCIDE”: U.N. Whistleblower Denounces Nobel Winner Navi Pillay For Betraying China's Uyghurs A U.N. whistleblower today accused today's Nobel peace prize laureate of being “complicit in genocide.” Emma Reilly, a human rights lawyer who worked under Navi Pillay, alleges that under her leadership the U.N. human rights office handed dissidents’ names to China, and ignored her warnings about the danger to them and their families. “Unfortunately, the winner is an absolute disgrace,” said Emma Reilly,” and accused her of being “quite literally complicit in the Uyghur genocide. If she didn't have diplomatic immunity, three victims would have sued her.” “How much has China subverted human rights? Well, Navi Pillay just got the Nobel Peace Prize. The same Navi Pillay who was High Commissioner when I first reported the UN handing names of dissidents to China. Her response? Bring her a different chair, she was uncomfortable.” “Navi Pillay oversaw the communication of names of over 50 dissidents to China. Families of the dissidents testified in court.” “They testified, under oath, to their family members being intimidated, arbitrarily detained, tortured, disappeared, and even killed in concentration camps. This is an absolute travesty of 'peace.' “All staffers [of Pillay] who directly handed over names were promoted... I was fired for speaking up.” More: nitter.gq/EmmaReillyTweet/status…
