Badenoch on @GMB: racist attacks on me “are not going to work” because “Britain is not a racist country.”
This from the same person who previously said she “did not experience prejudice in any meaningful form” after moving here from Nigeria, and that people “did not treat me differently.”
Either the country has a meaningful racism problem that she is now experiencing, or these jibes are just nasty politics that do not require the “racist country” framing.
The selective use of the label is doing a lot of work here.
Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch has told Good Morning Britain that ‘racist attacks’ on her are ‘not going to work’, after a former aide to Nigel Farage called her a ‘Nigerian scammer’.
Former UKIP adviser Raheem Kassam posted a series of tweets attacking Mrs Badenoch at the weekend.
When Reform UK’s Robert Jenrick was asked about the attacks by Ranvir and Paul, he said it wasn't his place to police what people write online.

This is what happens when asylum seekers are dehumanised and turned into targets. When politicians use inflammatory rhetoric about vulnerable people, it has consequences. Lives are being put at risk.
If you think this is acceptable you really need to seek help and check you aren't being radicalised by your algorithm and politicians.
