Africans are not even among the top six nationalities in the UK, yet you keep mentioning Africa whenever immigration comes up. Why?
Replying to @bammybae_
Genuine question, is everyone in Africa just looking to move elsewhere?, and why the UK specifically, do we offer more than other speaking countries or what

A young man was hit very badly by a car in Githurai. The car sped off. The guy is broken in several body parts.
Police tried calling an ambulance for over 30 minutes, but none came. Geoffrey Mosiria also tried to find an ambulance, but none was available.
Luckily, an ambulance from Murang’a that was passing by (it already had a patient) stopped briefly, gave some first aid, and left. Mosiria realised the young man was going to die because he was bleeding heavily from the head, so he paid for a private car to take him to a nearby hospital, together with a policeman.
In this Kenya, many accident victims die simply because they don’t get immediate help.

When the Kenyan Somali debates come up, y'all turn it sexual, juu you want to insinuate that it's because Somali women aren’t fucking jareers yet, when it's actually about the way y'all want to impose your culture on everyone and want to ruin working systems.
Na kwani hii feminism yenu inaapply tu kwa kazi za kukaa kwa ofisi😂😂😂ikifika ni kazi zenye sasa zinaonyesha gender equality vizuri allufasaden men are bad for not helping😂😂😂

People asked the police a simple question. Where is Abshir Abdi? Somehow the police had enough to say about his character but still couldn’t tell his family where he is.
That old trick of smearing someone after they’ve been taken, as if that makes it okay, is tired. If you have a case against him, take it to court. And what is it with this regime and abductions? Why do families have to get people out on the streets just to get an answer?

End of an era, start of the next.
For our team, QuickMart has never been just a business. It holds their families’ hopes, years of sacrifice and the courage it took to open those first doors.
As our IPO closes, we pause to reflect on the journey, and the people who made it possible. The colleagues who believed. The suppliers who stood with us. The customers who kept coming back.
There is pride in how far we have come, and emotion in watching something so deeply personal prepare to belong to a wider community.
This is not goodbye to the founders’ dream. It is that dream growing beyond them.
To everyone who has been part of our story, THANK YOU. The next chapter carries you with it.
Thank you Kenya. We are ready to welcome you to QuickMart’s new chapter.

A bodyguard attached to Mogadishu Police Chief Ma’alin Mahdi dies after being struck by an aircraft’s rotating propeller moments after disembarking at Dhusamareb Airport in central Somalia.
The incident happened on Tuesday when Mahdi and members of his security team arrived in Dhusamareb ahead of the inauguration of Galmudug’s new leader Liban Ahmed Hassan, scheduled for Thursday, November 5, 2026.
Lakini Kenyan Writers are so talented, kwanza hawa wa literature and short stories.
Unasoma kitabu mpaka unashangaa how did this guy/lady come up with such a great storyline.
Highschool mlikua mnasoma ndio mpite exams, so wengi hawakudevelop a reading culture vizuri.
Sai nimesoma vitabu za Ken Walibora kama zote. Kuna flani nilisoma in 2019 inaitwa "Ndoto ya Almasi", that story captivated me mpaka nikasahau nilikua nachunga ngombe huko Embobut zikapotea.
If you know an Kenyan author you can recommend ndio tuone kazi yake and support.
