BREAKING: Donald Trump and his top White House aides are reportedly preparing to directly blame Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for the Republican midterm defeat, along with military commanders who pushed for war with Iran, per CNN and CBS News.
“Trump, always one to crowdsource an opinion, has asked allies about their thoughts on Hegseth’s performance of late,” sources told CNN.
CBS News also reports that Trump believes the election results would have been entirely different without the Iran war. Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan Caine and CENTCOM commander Gen. Brad Cooper are also reportedly facing scrutiny as Trump looks for someone to blame for the Republican midterm defeat.
NEW:
The campaign of now Senator-elect Annie Andrews received a poll in early October showing her with a three-point lead over Darline Graham.
But the Democrat's campaign decided against publicly releasing the poll — or any subsequent internal poll — showing Andrews with a lead over Graham, wary of drawing too much attention from national Republicans and jeopardizing a peak at the right time.

It is rather telling that for Basham being salt is to vote for a pro-choice party that lead the country into a war without any serious rationale and to stand by this party regardless of how poorly it governs. This advances the gospel in her mind.
The only question now is if his future campaign staff will post sonnenrads like last time.
🚨 WOW. Gov. Ron DeSantis is GOING OFF right now post-blue tsunami:
"I see the ad, 'so and so voted against releasing the Epstein Files.' I'm like, that's a bad vote. We ran as Republicans saying we need to do that. And you have people in Congress voting against release when the Attorney General said she had all the all this horrific stuff on her desk and that people are gonna be held accountable?!"
"It's untenable when you have people going in trading stocks! I've never traded stocks since I've been in elected office. How do you have no investment acumen, and then all of a sudden get elected to Congress, and then you're outperforming Warren Buffett?"
"I saw how they were running and it was a rejection of what was going on in DC."
Trump’s whole “I wasn’t on the ballot” thing isn’t cope, he’s acknowledging to all who will listen that the Republican party is a personality cult centered entirely around him. He wasn’t on the ballot, so the cult didn’t come out for the party.
Some of the only good news in my neck of the woods tonight is that the city of St. Pete overwhelmingly approved a municipal bond to rebuild our stormwater drainage infrastructure.
