Billsperfectstorm retired to Rerun in 2016 and was adopted out shortly afterwards. He went to the 2017 RRP and then was sold. Over the past decade he has had a couple of homes and was eventing.
A couple of days ago, one eagle eyed 👀 horse advocate saw him for sale in a local PA group and let the owners know that he was a Rerun horse and as such, could always come back.
Yesterday Amy and I drove a 600 mile round trip to pick him up and bring him home.
He is in good condition and was clearly very loved so no hate please.
He traveled like a trooper and has settled right in. The vet will be here later for his work up. At nearly 15 years old, it is anticipated that he will become a resident.
Welcome home Bill.

Frankel has been very much in the news this week as his reputation as a sire has been strengthened by recent big race results.
It was actually Frankel who started my love affair with horse racing photography. It was this photo that I took on my Sony Ericsson C905 after Frankel won The Lockinge at Newbury in 2012 that started me off on a journey that I have thoroughly enjoyed and gained great pleasure from.
After this, I was running around racecourses with my mobile for a year or so before @meteorshoweryn who had seen my keen enthusiasm gifted me his Nikon D300 when he had to return to Japan when his visa ran out. I remember Yuji putting it around my neck at Kempton the day before he caught his flight home. I was quite humbled.
I just wish I’d discovered this wonderful hobby earlier in my life. It’s a hobby that feeds the soul and captures memories that last a lifetime.
