A Farewell Ode to the NFSP
In shadows deep, where justice hides,
A Federation's silence, where truth abides.
NFSP, a name once held in esteem,
Now whispers of failure, a broken dream.
They vowed to protect, to stand by their own,
But when darkness fell, they left them alone.
In the Horizon storm, where lives were torn,
The Fed's voice was muted, forlorn.
The cries of the innocent, unheard, unseen,
As the NFSP turned away, cold and mean.
Their promises empty, their actions unkind,
Leaving broken hearts and shattered minds.
The victims sought solace, a guiding hand,
But found only betrayal, across the land.
The Federation they trusted, their shield and might,
Abandoned them to darkness, devoid of light.
Oh, NFSP, where was your strength and grace?
When lives were shattered, leaving no trace.
The scars remain, a testament to pain,
A reminder of the trust you did disdain.

Serving sub postmaster here with a message from the front line to the new Postal Affairs Minister when you’re appointed.
You’ve a network to save and the only way that you will do that is by working with the people who are the network. The postmasters. Please listen to us. Please give us truly independent representation which the current board deny us. A few nominal ‘postmaster’ director puppets mean nothing to me. Focus groups and listening groups mean nothing to me because POL don’t listen and they only turn their focus on me to pretend they will change. They won’t change unless and until we are independently represented. Their whole culture is unchanged. They live by the bonus culture. That’s the culture that resulted in the ongoing Horizon scandal. There’s another scandal here and now and it’s the underpayment of the greatest social network in the land. It’s all at risk. We’re not just postmasters. We’re they eyes and ears of communities. We are the social safety net in communities. We are the ‘doers’ and the ‘fixers’ in communities. We are another emergency service. Were the ears of the community. We’re the advocates for the socially unrepresented. We give our life advice to the community. We give our lives to the community. Our job is a vocation. Like yours.
But be warned and make sure that you hear the right things. The NFSP does not represent postmasters. It is wholly funded by POL and is an arm of the Post Office PR machine. It needs to be called out for what it is. Your government is about Change. Please do contact me to talk about it. I am the CWU subpostmasters branch secretary. We’re ready to give all postmasters independent representation. One small concession you can tell the board to make that will lead to one major change. My DMs are open Minister.

This morning when logging on to Horizon I was chided for not yet having taken(and passed) my Data Protection Compliance Test,the threat of not being able to serve in branch was raised!

Reform UK plan tax cuts which they say will cost £70bn; however our analysis shows the actual cost will be at least £93bn.
And their funding figures are out by £15bn+
All this means Reform UK have a total unfunded cost of at least £38bn - about two Liz Trusses.
