Don’t listen to all those doomsayers o. You better start treating optimism as an asset. Intentionally.
I think once a week, go to a gathering where people are optimistic about something. could be films. tech. anything. it fuels your optimism.

Instead of building a hospital or a university to commemorate the 70th independence anniversary, we are printing new bank notes.

A lot of people are angry right now because they were told if they pray and do right, life will be easy. You can love God, walk in obedience and pray faithfully and still experience disappointment, loss, suffering and seasons when nothing seems to make sense. We cannot measure God’s goodness by how well things are going in our lives. Nor should we mistake a difficult season for divine abandonment. There will be seasons of abundance and seasons of lack, moments of great joy and moments of grief. None of these seasons should become the sole measure of God’s faithfulness. Perhaps we need to stop presenting Christianity as a guarantee of an easy life and start teaching people what it means to remain faithful through all of life’s seasons. Ride the waves, gracefully. 🤍

There is a kind of self-respect you only get from becoming able to do hard things well. No status game can replace it.

I want to spend the rest of my life as a witness to the power of telling the truth and being who God has called us to be. When we act in truth and in love towards others, we honour God’s very nature and sacrifice. Nothing great can be done from a place of fear or intimidation.

Train your inner voice to be gentle, kind, and optimistic. There are already so many harsh and negative voices out there, don’t let your own be one of them. How are you practicing self-kindness today?

They have bigger fish to fry like 1. Getting the library working and well stocked! 2. Hiring guides who will not tell people Rawlings killed the people who overthrew Nkrumah 3. Maintaining the place well! 4. Scouring for materials about Nkrumah which they can display.
🚨ICYMI🇬🇭💵: The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park is proposing that the Bank of Ghana replace the Big Six image on selected banknotes with the iconic photograph of Kwame Nkrumah declaring Ghana’s independence on March 6, 1957. The proposal, submitted as Ghana prepares for its 70th Independence anniversary in 2027, is intended to form part of the Bank of Ghana’s proposed Heritage Series of banknotes. The Park says the move would broaden the historical moments represented on Ghana’s currency, while maintaining recognition of the Big Six’s contribution to the independence struggle. 🦅🇬🇭

👨🏾‍🍳🇬🇭: Came out of my hiatus briefly to remind y’all that NOBODY and I mean NO AFRICAN COUNTRY makes GOOD MUSIC like Ghana does. Don’t let anybody gaslight you into believing otherwise. We have our problems as an industry. PLENTY of them. But MAKING GOOD MUSIC has NEVER been one of them. Argue about everything else. Not the music. Shalom 🦅🇬🇭

I can rejoice in breakfast and a warm cup of tea. My life doesn’t have to be perfect, the Lego’s don’t have to add up, the music won’t always be harmonious but God is still my God. I can enjoy Him and enjoy life in Him. It is hard, deeply hard. But by God, I will enjoy life.

What’s the point of disputing a ticket if you end up paying more simply because you challenged it? Are citizens now expected to keep quiet and pay, even when they genuinely believe they’ve been wrongly fined? Isn’t this intimidating? Or am I getting something wrong?
“If you call the Traffitech call centre after receiving a ticket to dispute the violation, and investigations establish that you indeed breached road traffic regulations, you will receive an additional fine.” — Chief Inspector Frempong Ayeh cautions motorists against falsely disputing traffic violations, warning that an additional fine will be imposed if investigations confirm the offence.

Building a career is not supposed to be fun. It's hard work. Boring, sweaty, tiring work Most people who have done great stuff, with successes you see on social media have compounded work overtime. It takes time and an unhealthy load of will power/dedication

Ever since I entered the corporate world, I realized having a good direct Manager is the best thing that can ever happen to you! This determines your level of misery or best days.
one sign of a toxic work environment is ensuring that you are at work at the stipulated time of arrival but always feel gulty leaving at 5. i hope y'all survive such places sooner than later bse ehh 😁
