Atlanta, GA: Today, a group of 30-40 people gathered in front of the home of Shephard Long, principal of Long Engineering, one of the subcontractors hired to build the “Public Safety Training Center,” also known as “Cop City” in the Atlanta forest.

About 10 APD and unmarked vehicles are parked on Key Road by the forest, entering into the gate at the Old Atlanta Prison Farm. Reports are they were met with a flaming barricade. Text 470-606-1212 for text alerts and calls to action.

this is the first time the public has been able to see the actual final version of the cop city lease. it was not provided voluntarily, but rather from some scrappy volunteers doing GORA requests (georgia version of FOIA)

No bulldozers have returned to the forest at the old atlanta prison farm since Reeves Young were chased out by land defenders last Tuesday! However, Long Engineering, the surveyors contracted for cop city, is on site today. Call them: 770-951-2495. #stopcopcity
