Dear @1Password . I tried to sign up to your forum but apparently my name contains restricted text and it won't let me join, so I will post here instead. This latest update that requires double confirmation to save an entry that doesn't have a website in it is the worst change you have made in the 10+ years I've been using your product. People use your product for more than website logins. I have everything from license keys to service accounts on systems and I do not want a website listed with them, nor do I auto fill those. While I get what you're doing, please make this a configurable setting as I almost lost a changed service account credential the first time because I didn't notice it hadn't saved.

Me at 16 when I was seated away from my family on a flight: ā€œoh what a shame. I’ll see you at the gate on the other endā€. It was my last chance to be alone before spending every moment with them on the trip. The teen was probably just as thrilled.

Mark is a great speaker and all-round lovely guy. I don’t do much with WP these days but it looks like a great event!

As someone who has been on well over 1,000 flights and goes to the loo on landing almost every time I can confirm this is a thing. It is… odd.

It was bad enough when I had a Cisco ISR in my home office. I couldn’t imagine having to work with servers next to me not to mention the thought of permanent hearing damage. There’s a reason I always wore earplugs when I worked in datacentres. You can’t hear our GarageDC from anywhere in the house unless the internal door is open, but you can from the street. There’s two more servers (another Dell R630 and a Cisco UCS C240), a Definity PBX, and a Cisco AS5350 in the rack since this photo but thanks to the wonders of 10Gbps Ethernet it’s just my music and my thoughts while working in the home office. The enclosure around the rack is just a portable greenhouse but it has aircon that kicks in if it’s too warm which is a must here as it reaches 48c in summer so it’s never more than 25c in the rack. It was supposed to be temporary until we got a permanent solution for cooling but it’s worked so well we’ve kept it. With gigabit fiber Internet and a 3000VA UPS we can also host things from home too.
These kinds of shenanigans is how I got hearing damage. I had a 1U server in my room for years and now I have tinnitus and hearing difficulties. Don't be stupid, protect your ears.

14 for me, but my favourite Sydney restaurants aren’t even on that list. That also means the influencers haven’t discovered them yet either. Completely missed Quay closing earlier in the year. Not my fav but enjoyable. I still miss Tetsuya’s.

Oh wait in a coffee machine. Eww. I misread (I’m out) and thought it was hotel laundry 🤣

I did once on a two week trip because I forgot to grab mine from the dryer before leaving. They came back in a box pressed and wrapped in tissue paper. It was the fanciest packaging those Bonds undies have probably ever seen 🤣

Without fail every single one of them declaring x is dead and you must embrace AI is flogging their shitty AI product. They even have the same profile photo style.

In Australia after the bartender got over their surprise at what you’re asking for, that would get you basically the same. Tequila, soda water, and sprite. They’d likely have lemon syrup/cordial behind the bar but not lemonade in the American sense.

Yeah I've done it too, just need to make sure the crew know so you don't lose your meal choice! I've even guested them into the lounge when connecting to the same flight. But asking a revenue passenger to move especially to a lower cabin is a definite policy violation.

Happened to me once but only on domestic. The crew overheard my laughter and it ended up being quite the drama because they were on staff travel so the CSM had to do a formal report about it. Left with a tasty bottle of GSM though so not all bad. nitter.gq/swewing/status/2023880…
Person in 1C once asked if I'd swap my 1A for her partner's seat so they could sit together. She took offence at my laughter when I was informed the partner's seat was 7B. Ended up quite the drama because they were on staff travel so a formal report by the CSM who overheard us.

I first encountered it in Jakarta about 10 years ago. A friend of mine who works in hotels said the reason they’re doing it is to discourage room sharing. Doesn’t bother me if alone or with my partner but I wouldn’t share a room like that with a friend or family.

Sending lots of hugs to those who also lost their fur babies. I haven’t gotten back to everyone as I’m a bit overwhelmed and burst into tears whenever I open this post but your kind words mean a lot. Spent the weekend with my partner and our 15yo Hana.

Said goodbye to Sybil yesterday after being my companion for 20 years through good times and bad. I was 22 when she entered my life as a little ball of fluff RSPCA rescue and now I’m 42. She was spoiled rotten and I hope she had the best life possible but I’ll miss her dearly.

You can get a jar here in Australia too, you just have to ask the pharmacist.

Americans in the replies saying the ice is the water and completely missing that the beverage itself is 90% water.
