I've replied to your comment (techbits.io/migrate-unifi-cl…) but interested to know if you're just trying to keep management all in one place? Are you moving to a UDM Pro for one of the sites?

Same sad story for my tinkerboard. Every now and then I’m tempted to try using it, then I remember why I don’t.

Nice! I thought @linusgsebastian was really overselling the ratcheting, but no, it’s great. Cardboard packing is good, but my only issue was that the metric hex bit box was open with bits rattling loose in the main shipping carton.
This sounds like an absolute nightmare. I’m sorry you’re having to go through it, but glad you’re making progress getting back in and sorted. Frustrating when the YT twitter acct points you at procedures that you’ve clearly said you’ve tried/won’t work.
Should be a really low tdp cluster! Got a few usb 2.5gig network adapters too, so that onboard NICs can be used for cluster sync traffic

Some low wattage intel NUCs. The two so far are nuc7i5dnhe's (dual core, 4 threads), and the last to move into the cluster is a NUC7PJYH. Roughly equivalent hardware... Quad core but only one drive, so that'll need a usb NVMe adapter. All 32gb memory.
Day 53 of #100DaysOfHomeLab
2 node proxmox HA cluster using replication is working. Third node is on the way, but I need to move a couple of things over first so I can reinstall the OS.
Finally feel up to Day 52 of #100DaysOfHomeLab
Multiple reinstalls of main 2 proxmox nodes. Using 16gb optane drives as boot (hope better lifespan), but default partitions don't allow dist-upgrade. Finally fixed with:
lvresize -L +1G pve/root
resize2fs /dev/mapper/pve-root
No #100DaysOfHomeLab today. Not been well, so ended up watching the succession of football world cup matches because it was easier than moving or trying to do anything productive

Yes to nanoleaf clones! These are WLED powered 😎
Day 51 of #100DaysOfHomeLab
While I had the NUC apart, I had a go at replacing the WiFi card with 2.5gbps ethernet. Card LEDs were flashing but couldn't get proxmox to see it. Cool little card and if I can get it to work, a 3d printed lid for the NUC would make space for rj45
Day 50 of #100DaysOfHomeLab
Halfway through and I thought I'd be doing more interesting stuff. But, no, replacing a dodgy SSD. How dodgy is it? I've no idea, but it's past its max write life so I don't think it's worth the risk.
Day 49 of #100DaysOfHomeLab
New Home Assistant (HAOS) VM is up. Time to start migrating bits over!
But wait: "Device: /dev/sdb [SAT], Failed SMART usage Attribute: 202 Percent_Lifetime_Remain" ... I guess it's the right week for getting a good deal on flash storage.
Day 48 of #100DaysOfHomeLab
Pretty quiet. Updated some of my wiki.js documentation (the GitHub sync is very reassuring for when I brick the container, and info to fix it is in itself). + Synology firmware update
Hey - thanks for the feedback! I've not tried, but pretty sure it doesn't sync existing. There's a bit on this article about manually syncing public/system to S3: stanislas.blog/2018/05/movin…
Once you've synced, changing .env.prod to S3 should serve all files from S3...
Day 47 of #100DaysOfHomeLab
Migrating Home Assistant VM from HyperV to Proxmox. A couple of tries, but it's working. I might keep this running, but create a fresh install and move services over, so I can slowly fix issues with my config. I went too long without updating...
