What I learned today:
- deepseek/deepseek-v4.1-flash-1017 works great in Claude Code for sub agents (just ask it to write an .claude/agents/ file as the sub agent tool doesn't take a tool arg)
- With Opus 5.5 doing orchestration everything just works wonderfully
- It's extremely cheap. I currently have 24 sub agents cooking (all with their own Vercel Sandbox to leave my laptop alone) and until now I have spent like $9 on deepseek which does 99% of the work π€―
- Previously I averaged about $2K per day in list-price tokens (Sorry @mabrahamsen)

we did invent it and it's called OIDC federation

- each deploy gets a short-lived signed token
- AWS/npm/other services verify it via trust policy

you can get a durable @eve agent session id from your web app before the user sends their first message by passing prewarm
it unlocks use cases like:
1. setting the chat url (e.g. /s/<id>) from the start, so a refresh mid-reply reopens the same chat
2. files can upload under that session before the message that uses them goes out
