Luckily, I think we already have a word for this: a "closed" task.
In order to differentiate from "closed" in the project management sense, and to lean into the looping nature of agents I propose:
"Closed-loop tasks"
I feel like I need a word for the type of task that agents are really good at
I.e. where it has 100% of the data, it can run experiments, verify independently, and hill-climb towards its destination
On these tasks my trust level is totally maxed-out and the results are incredible

Cursor's new Agent SDK follows @eve's conventions in many cases to the letter.
I think that is amazing. A new standard for agentic development is emerging similar to how file-base routing became a thing across many web frameworks.

we did invent it and it's called OIDC federation
vercel and github actions do it:
- each deploy gets a short-lived signed token
- AWS/npm/other services verify it via trust policy
- you get temporary creds
no keys to paste
