They place their trust in these MFs by voting for them and electing them to represent their interests. These people give out gifts to the public but fail to bring about the changes that actually matter and directly affect people’s lives. Azaan has voted in favour of almost every bill that benefited him or his party. He sits in a Majlis with a supermajority. He campaigned under the banner of changing people’s lives and being the voice of everyone, especially his own constituents. Muizzu has spent over $700 million to fulfil his own ego, pushed MACL to the brink of collapse, and left its staff waiting for their bonuses. Yet Azaan, who receives MVR 77,000 from taxpayers’ money, has nothing to say? If it were the MDP doing this, he would have already published 20,000 articles and made over 30,000 videos about it. After everything he has done and continues to do, it’s astonishing that people are still falling for his propaganda.
