Here's what actually happened:
Lunatic left & lunatic right staged hostile takeovers of parties.
The lunatic right, "Vanceguard", purposefully threw the election for Communism thinking they can FORCE everyone into their postliberal version of socialism as our "saviors".
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up.
So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us."
Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026.
There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true.
But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone.
Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were:
1) End the war
2) Focus on cost of living/inflation
3) Put America First
4) Change our relationship to Israel
Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.)
In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you.
The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night.
If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest.
But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there.
I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

How to Woke Right:
Step 1: Spend months attacking virtually every decision President Trump makes, from the war in Iran to his economic policies, telling Americans how badly they're being betrayed and how unaffordable everything has become, without bothering to analyze the data and without making any effort to explain what the administration is actually trying to accomplish or why those decisions were made in the first place.
Step 2: When Republicans lose elections, blame Trump for supposedly ignoring what Americans want, as if your own constant outrage and attacks had absolutely nothing to do with shaping how those voters feel. Forget examining whether the policies were justified, whether they were properly explained, or what alternatives would actually benefit the country.
Step 3: Lecture everyone else about the importance of keeping the Republican Party united. Tell us that criticizing Tucker Carlson is dangerous because he's part of the conservative movement and we cannot afford to divide the right.
Tell us that criticizing Tucker for spreading insane conspiracy theories and promoting everything anti-America is supposedly a threat to conservative unity, while telling Republican voters that their own president has betrayed them for no apparent reason.
Now, I want to be clear about something, because I think this is where the argument often gets lost.
Nobody is obligated to blindly defend Trump or agree with every decision he makes. There are legitimate arguments to be had about the Iran war, its costs, and the administration's economic policies. But if you genuinely care about conservative principles and want Americans to understand what Republicans are trying to accomplish, why wouldn't you at least explain the reasoning behind those decisions?
Do you seriously believe Trump went into office intending to make life more expensive for Americans? Do you think he decided to confront Iran for absolutely no reason? Even if you believe the war was a terrible mistake, is it really that difficult to explain why preventing the Iranian regime from acquiring nuclear weapons would be an important American national security objective, and then make your argument about why his approach was wrong?
Many of these people enthusiastically supported Trump and helped convince Americans to vote for him. Now they spend their time telling those same voters that everything he does is a betrayal, while offering absolutely nothing in the way of serious policy alternatives.
If you believe a policy is wrong, explain why, including what it was intended to accomplish and why your alternative would serve Americans better. But don't spend months encouraging voters to see every difficult decision as proof that their president has abandoned them, and then act surprised when those voters become disillusioned.
Oh and I forgot
step 4) Blame "neocons" or Jews for the loss instead of actually doing a moment of introspection or asking if your "republican" friends telling everyone not to vote may have had something to do with it.

A year before the midterms, Dugin was already describing how Trump’s own base could make Republicans lose the midterms. He named the American influencers he thought could pull that support away, identified Israel as the issue that would split the party, and said what Trump would have to give in to Russia to reverse course.
On November 14, 2025 he described the pressure campaign in public. Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Steve Bannon, Alex Jones, and Nick Fuentes were the media figures in the that would help punish Trump. He described the Groypers pressing Republican figures in public to choose between America First and Israel First, and said the Israel issue will bring parts of the MAGA right and the anti-Israel left into alignment.
Then he said what he wanted Trump to do which was change course on Netanyahu and the Middle East, renounce interventions, improve relations with Moscow, and help end the Ukraine war “on our terms.”
That was an interview he did on Sputnik. It was then printed in English by Arktos.
Today he reinforced that message blaming Trump’s backing of Netanyahu, the war with Iran, and the economic and energy fallout. He said Trump sided with neoconservatives, Zionists, and what Dugin called the deep state, and “lost everything.” His bluntest line was “Iran defeated Trump.”
He laid out the strategy for how he was going to run control over American foreign policy in 2025.
And then his favorite influencers, who he specifically named helped carry it out.
Up to saying Trump would start nuclear war the day before the midterms.

The Iran war did not lose Trump the midterms. JD Vance’s pathetic negotiating strategy did.
We had the mullahs crushed militarily in April, but JD deliberately tried to save them. What an evil man.
It’s time to finish the job once and for all. No more appeasement. Free Iran!

Reflection on the Midterm Bloodbath
The hard truth is this:
If you believe in Americanism and Classical Liberalism, you are vastly outnumbered by people who have no convictions and by people who have evil convictions, whether they be from the Woke Right or the Woke Left.
Those who still believe in liberty and the US Constitution ought to make a renewed effort to find each other and to help each other.
Also, there will need to be a whole lot more gatekeeping and social purification.
It is time to start treating the Woke Right and the Woke Left fraudsters in accordance with the principle of justice. Such people are not part of our civilization.

There’s a faction who told massive audiences to either vote Democrat, or withhold Republican votes.
That group is currently blaming the group that actually voted Republican, for the Republican loss.

Voters in 2024 wanted an end to the affordability crisis and a return to the economic prosperity we had before covid.
Instead, they got Postliberal Lyndon LaRouche, and all of it egged on by JD Vance's ideological hatred for mainstream economics.

Iran wouldn't have pulled Trump down almost at all if the whole Woke Right media ecosystem didn't countersignal him and monetize manufactured rage at him literally the whole time. The tariffs probably would have hurt him anyway, but turning people against him over the war did it.

Everyone can tell by looking at this photo that this person is a man. But he calls himself a “transgender woman”.
According to Australia’s sex discrimination act, looking like a man is a protected characteristic of being a “transgender woman”.
In 3 weeks, he will be released from prison for his second attempted rape conviction.
And because he claims to be a woman, the law is on his side to go into woman only spaces.
To some people, apparently this is progress, and they will indulge the lie. Everyone else can be punished for not.

A lot of people are going to be watching the results of the Michigan race very closely, particularly how Jewish residents vote. If Michigan Jews vote for El-Sayed, as this group encourages them to, then there is zero reason for any Democrat to support Israel ever again.
The Democratic base hates Israel and a supermajority believe they have committed "genocide" and most young people hate the government and Israeli people. If a majority of Jews are willing to vote for someone that downplayed a synagogue terrorist attack, said that support for Israel is about "money" and who has expressed sympathy for supporters of antisemitic terrorist groups, then the political calculus becomes very simple: just stop supporting Israel.
The lesson Dems will "learn" is that one can go full anti-Zionist, appease their base, and also still garner a majority of Jewish institutional support because Jewish voters don't prioritize Israel much.
Further, Republicans will "learn" a separate lesson. If Jews support El-Sayed despite everything he has done, they will realize that there is nothing that will win over substantial numbers of Jews to the GOP because they prioritize a spectrum of progressive agenda items more than Israel or combatting antisemitism. Therefore, it makes political sense to soften support for Israel (JD Vance) or even pander to Groypers (Tucker Carlson, James Fishback). Young Republicans are very skeptical of the Israel-US relationship, so there's something to be gained electorally by catering to this demographic, even if it is immoral and gross.
The end result is that many Jews will end up politically sidelined and irrelevant in the US, especially as millennials play a bigger part of the electorate in each successive cycle and Boomers die out.
In life, you are treated the way you allow yourself to be treated, and if you reward disrespect you will be disrespected.
