🚨🗣️ 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Emiliano Martínez reveals he played the World Cup with a BROKEN FINGER and is STILL playing through pain:
"I broke my finger in the Europa League final. When the doctor showed me the X-ray, I started crying because I thought I would miss the World Cup."
"Scaloni messaged me and said: 'Whether you make it or not, I'll BACK YOU... Come anyway'"
"We decided NOT to have surgery. Adidas made me a special glove, and I played with my finger completely wrapped. I could only feel FOUR fingers."
"I couldn't even train with normal footballs. I trained with volleyballs until the Switzerland game."
"How much did it affect me at the World Cup? TEN OUT OF TEN. I was practically a zombie. Every time my hand touched the ground, I saw stars."
"I cried at the training camp because my finger was so swollen. After the World Cup, I had another X-ray and the finger was STILL BROKEN IN HALF."
"I still play through pain today. I'll eventually need surgery."

We’ve lost our No1 goalkeeper, No1 striker & No1 defender in just over a week.
Is there any other team that gets this type of upheaval to a season year upon year
BREAKING: Fears Maxence Lacroix is out until the New Year with a hamstring injury.
Sources say Lacroix sustained a grade three tear against Liverpool.
Xabi Alonso said today it will be "a few weeks" until Lacroix is fully fit, but it is not thought Lacroix will be back immediately after the November break.
Although Chelsea are yet to put a definitive timescale on a return, @talkSPORT understands Lacroix is facing at least two months out.🏥
To be back in 2027 ya kna . Crazy
🚨🔵 Maxence Lacroix will be out for several weeks and likely to be back only in 2027 with hamstring injury.
Bad news for Chelsea as also France have ruled Lacroix out for next international break, as @FabriceHawkins reported.

"Just because someone stumbles and loses their way, it doesn't mean they're lost forever. Sometimes, we all need a little help. It's the greatest gift we have: to bear their pain without breaking. And it comes from the most human part of us: hope."

Kevin Feige pays tribute to Sir Patrick Stewart
“I’ll never forget the first time I saw Sir Patrick Stewart on the set of the first X-Men. After years of knowing him as the inimitable Captain Picard, I was in awe — and he turned out to be everything I had seen on screen and more: brilliant, charming, warm, generous, with a quiet strength and gravitas"
"Away from the cameras, he was even more remarkable, with a wonderfully sharp sense of humor. It was a true privilege to know him and to work with him. His legacy lives on not only in decades of extraordinary work, but in the many, many people he mentored. He will be deeply missed"
