I remember when I had to choose between Monzo (basically all my colleagues with it) and an alien way to do banking by a new company called Revolut. I chose Revolut big time
“We want to dominate. Otherwise, what’s the point?” Nik Storonsky. Revolut. One of the most hardcore and competitive founders I’ve talked to. Tomorrow!

I love all these "pixel maps" of cities that don't have any pixels at all actually, they are just mere visual effects of existing maps 🙄

I asked @opensea support to forward this message to the CEO: “I want OpenSea to donate all the fees that you gained by trading my stolen NFT to a charity of your choice.” They replied like they are JP Morgan or some old institution 🙄

Update about my Koda: @opensea unlocked it without giving me any update (that they promised) and before 30 days (schedule lock time), and it was sold by the owner (who knew it was stolen, so he was fraudolent). That's the NFT world has also plenty of a**holes it was clear. Any thoughts @0xQuit @mfigge @chrismaddern about this?

love this space and how people see it so differently each other
STFU WINE BOY, NOBODY ASKED YOU OR YOUR STUPID ASS VEECUCKS. TOXIC POSITIVITY ALLOWS CRAP TO BE FLOODED INTO THE SPACE WITHOUT CHECKS. TO BE 100% A OKAY ABOUT EVERYTHING IS KINDA WHY THE NFT SPACE IS WHERE IT IS, AND GARY HAD A PART IN IT.

Ten days ago, I was one of the victims of the hack and lost my Koda. I was pissed off with the Yuga team. I expected more support and even considered changing the PFP I’ve kept since 2021 because I felt unheard. But over the following days, I realised how many positive things happen because of @BoredApeYC . They might not involve me directly, but they reach so many people. It’s a community. It’s not perfect, and I’m not particularly active in it. But don’t tell me it doesn’t contribute to culture or create connections in a world flooded with slop of all sorts.

It's quite fascinating for me to see how every possible social event gets translated into a token, then goes to zero in no time

Good plan that could fit other collections. Also @yugalabs should take notes
The ME/Limitbreak hack affected a lot of NFTs across the @truth ecosystem, including some of our biggest and most active community members. Outside of a handful that @0xQuit was able to save, a lot of those stolen NFTs are now flagged on OpenSea and realistically aren’t recoverable. So we’ve been thinking about what we *can* do. Here’s the tentative plan: For stolen Goblins, we change the art/metadata on those NFTs to basically say “stolen” / FU to the hackers, making the stolen versions worthless from an art and metadata perspective. Then we’ll take Goblins from the Truth treasury, change their art and metadata to match the stolen Goblins, and send those replacement Goblins back to the people who were affected. So effectively: Stolen Goblin → art/metadata gets nuked. Treasury Goblin → becomes the original Goblin and goes back to the affected holder. There are some downsides. We’ll probably end up giving away a large part, if not all, of the Goblins in our treasury. And anyone who legitimately bought one of the stolen Goblins after the hack could end up holding an NFT with changed metadata. Most appear to be hackers or WETH offers, but if there are legitimate buyers, we’ll work with them to trade it back to the original holder in exchange for one in our treasury. But I think the upside is worth it. This was a terrible hack. The people affected didn’t do anything wrong, and many of them are some of the most passionate people in our community and in crypto generally. We can’t recover everything they lost. But in this case, we actually have the ability to do something. We’re going to start with @goblintown. If it works well, we’ll look at doing the same for @secretsociety, @the187, Grumpls, and others. We may also try to buy back the stolen NFTs after their metadata has been changed, burn them, or potentially restore them later depending on what makes the most sense. We’ll start rolling this out over the next few days. It is going to be a very manual process so bear with me. If you were affected, DM me here or on Discord with all the details so I can verify everything end to end.

Something that I’m surprised about the hack is why @yugalabs has never sent any communications in the last year to alert the community about possible flaws. I know that it’s everyone’s responsibility to keep their accounts secure, but some extra support will be very appreciated in the future, not everyone is on X every single hour or full active in the crypto space. Thanks in advance 🙏 @mfigge @0xQuit

Guys, stay away from people that allegedly want to help to recover your digital assets. So many of “them” are reaching out. I prefer to stick on my plan and get support from @0xQuit @mfigge @opensea if they can. My Koda is locked on OS, apparently owned now by someone part of the @BoredApeYC community
