You may hate Alabama, and that鈥檚 fine. You may also hate football, and that鈥檚 also fine. But if you spend your 84 years on this big blue planet having never sang Dixieland Delight with 101,000 others at an Alabama football game, you have not lived a full life.

Jean Chr茅tien: "It looks like they don't know what to do. When your big thing is to change the name of a lake, it's because you're running out of arguments. It is a very weak gesture, to be cheap and nasty. Lake Ontario is not suffering. It's a lake."

This hotel has a duck commute twice a day. What started as a tipsy prank in 1933 became one of the most famous hotel traditions in the world. Every morning at 11, five mallards leave their rooftop Duck Palace, walk a red carpet into the lobby of the Peabody Memphis, and take over the fountain until 5 pm. The tradition began when three ducks were released into the hotel fountain after a hunting trip. Guests loved them, and the Duck March was born. Even better? Each duck serves for just three months before returning to the wild. Follow for more animal encounters. #peabodyducks #peabodymemphis #duckmarch #cuteanimals #animalencounter

The #Canucks drop to 3rd overall, as the Maple Leafs (#1) and the San Jose Sharks (#2) win the two draws at the 2026 NHL Draft Lottery. It is the 7th time in Vancouver's franchise history that the club has moved down at the NHL draft lottery. The club has never moved up.

A low-key great Henrik Sedin moment is his King Clancy acceptance speech. Right in front of Mark Messier, who presented the award, Henrik name-dropped Stan Smyl, Orland Kurtenbach, Trevor Linden, and Markus Naslund as captains who set the standard in Vancouver. #Canucks
