Midfielder that can’t play forward passes, can’t receive under pressure, can’t dribble, can’t play through balls, can’t be tidy in small spaces, can’t tackle, is poor positionally, and can’t dictate play from deep. I’m literally just trying to control the ball normally but Marcelo does the complete opposite of what I’m trying to do and is unable to control a simple ball uncontested in plenty of space I have to fight against the opponent I have to fight against the lag and delay I have to fight against the scripting/dda And I even have to fight against the randomness of these useless animations that plague this game Why is it so difficult to do something so simple?

Most people don't want to talk about this but an important factor into wanting to improve at eFootball is to be able to identify when a game is scripted or not. And yes this game is heavily scripted and has a bad scripting/dda problem which obviously they won't admit to because if they do then nobody will spin for their cards ever again. The classic signs I can think of is passes that are played into clear space are being underhit or overhit and it's not even from a player that has bad passing. It can be from a player with good passing stats, all the passing skills, two footed, fresh super sub, but he can't play a simple 10 yard through pass into an Attacking Surge player's feet? Another sign of a scripted game is paying attention to how your AI is operating. Some games you feel like you have to manually control everything to have a chance while your opponent can just press one button and his AI is 10x better than yours without lifting a finger. Also you can tell if a game is scripted is by also paying attention to the team's playstyle. You can face someone using LBC but somehow their LBC is pressing you like they are using QC it makes no sense right? There are times when I am leading 1-0 but for some reason when I get to the final third it is like I am unable to breakthrough anymore. All my passes fail and everyone wants to play hide and seek with me it happens all the time. Once you are able to identify when the game has clearly shifted into a scripted state in the opponents favor you'd just have to adjust accordingly and take little risks to be able to win games. It sucks but it is the unfortunate truth lmao. There is way more stuff I want to dive into further about this but this is just the tip of the iceberg.
